For some reason I'm not as hyped for 200 as I should be.

I think part of it's because 2 of the bigger match-ups on the card are rematches (Jones/Cormier & Edgar/Aldo).

I'm excited though. From prelims to main card, I'll be watching it all.

I was wondering, who are the MMA & wrestling fans rooting for in this match-up? Hunt is very likeable and Lesnar is a big name in the WWE.

I think the UFC is underselling Daniel Cormier. This guy was an undefeated HW. He only ever lost to Jones. If there was no Jones how would we be talking about Cormier? GOAT? I think he'd be considered #1 Top P4P if there was no Jones.

I know being second best is frowned upon but if DC loses, there's nothing wrong with being number 2 behind one of the best fighters in MMA and the consensus GOAT LHW.

I want Hunt to win, because fighting is his life. Brock is going to go back to the WWE and make a good living regardless.

I'm not going to be upset if Brock wins, but in my heart I'm cheering for Hunt. Most hardcore wrestling fans are probably cheering for Brock though.

Cheering for Brock. Not because I don't respect/love Hunt who doesn't.


I want to troll the "I take myself too seriously" MMA heads who dismiss Brock's legit credentials because he did "rasslin" as though a LOT of the cats from MMA/Pancrase in the mid 90's weren't workers (Bas, Shamrock, Barnett etc)

Gotta say Brock looks to be in tremendous shape, he looks very lean. Even being out 5 years he still his wrestling skill and knowledge to fall back on but I'm gonna be very interested in seeing what his stamina looks like. His best bet might be to come out guns blazing for a TD early.

HWs retain their power. They age way better than every other weight division. Brock is as dangerous as ever.. Unfortunately so is Mark Hunt. It's been awhile since I've seen Mark on his back though. Back then, he was absolutely atrocious on the ground. Just embarrassingly bad. If Brock can take him down, it's over for Hunt IMO. If Hunt can keep it standing, we're going to see Brock in that silly panic mode within 2 minutes.
