Re watched Nate vs Conor. Conor was hitting Nate hard. Some parts it look like he was about to put him out. I also forgot that at the end of the first round Conor reversed Nates takedown and ended the round with him being on top. This fight is gonna be close and not as pointless as I remember thinking. I don't think Conor is complete trash on the ground he just didn't want Nate to knock him out.

Trash talking has been lackluster + tickets cost a lot if you wanted to be there live and all these fights haven't been marketed enough to where you know the value of the match up. It's truly unfortunate the featherweight belt is an interim fight instead of a real belt too.
What your seeing is a guy who trained for the fight and a guy who didn't train

Conor's best chance was in the first, Conor won't have any chances in the rematch. He's just not strong enough to ko Diaz and his ground game is utter garbage

What do you mean stop it, he was hitting him clean the first round. Some you guys need to put down the Lucky Charms, mate.
He got a few good lefts, but Nate matched him and even outjabbed him. Jab to face and repeated jabs to the body.
After that first round, you can see Conor walking back to his corner and looking back like, 'why am I so tired, and he isn't?'

The Nate vs Conor fight is interesting in the fact that Conor got tired while he was landing shots. A lot of fighters get tired by punching and missing. Usually the fighter who takes the most punishment which it looked like Nate did in the first gets pretty tired as well. The fact Nate ate them punches and outlasted Conor idk. Conor probably needs to focus on body shots
