Nah he confirmed it's the Brock news that got him in this already. He made a statement to SI

Yup, so just so he can say he leaked the Brock news 1st he lost his access. Just for his early leaks he lost his cushy job at Fox.

A month, 6 months, a year from now no1 will care who leaked what 1st. People will remember memorable interviews and the insight it provided.

It's funny, there's so many mma and ufc media, do people actually think Ariel is da only 1 with contacts or links to early info? Ariel is just 1 of the few stupid enough to constantly piss off the hand that feeds him. The other media guys are like good job Ariel, stand ur ground then behind closed doors they sayin better u than me. Thanks for taking the hit, I'm enjoying my free flight, hotel and tix for ufc 200.

I doubt john Morgan, kevin iole, Ben fowkes or karyn Bryant to name a few have an insider within Zuffa or ties to fighters which Ariel forged with years of his show and bts/on the ground journalism which has placed him unfortunately as the industry standard.

Other than karyn (who doesn't even do articles) non of them are personable like that nor do their platforms have that reach, there is a reason mmafighting would win the "mma site" of the year every year. Ain't no one clicking yahoo's MMA section or mmajunkie like that..Unlike a lot of the others, his site didn't report hearsay or rumours if you saw it on the front page it was news. There was also no other place with an array of pre/post fight+in depth vids with fighters, they know if they want to get notoriety that's where all the fans are checking. I believe the same principle is used when whichever deepthroat is giving him info. You don't want monster news sinking in the ocean you want to cuz an earthquake.

Reporters might be licking their lips thinking we got next but this news ain't going to annoint another reporter to no1, there is no site out there on mmafightings level except maybe junkie. No one does an internet show that gets as many eyes as mmahour. Zuffa are actually cutting their noses to spite their face, look at 199 for example, in previous events we knew where to get post fight interviews of all winners and losers and scrums. With no Ariel backstage which one of his peers could provide it? No one. If you don't have fightpass that's the kind of ish that can make interest wane

JimmyV breaks down game 2 of the NBA Finals and how Lebron needs to step it up. JimmyV notes that GSW is not even firing on all cylinders but they are still handling the Cavs. Kosher thinks that the sweep may very well happen even though he picked GSW in 5. Both hosts pay tribute to the late great Muhammad Ali, and tell some of his greatest quotes. So much action in the UFC Kosher talks all about UFC 199 and the biggest losers and winners. Oh yeah and Brock Lesnar is back in the UFC and will be fighting at UFC 200.

That's exactly why Ariel is gone, there are many mma media pundits, and trust me almost all of then have inside zuffa knowledge and contacts and leaked info. Thing is, they don't wanna bite the hand that feeds them. Ariel didn't give a fukk, and would drop the exclusive and thats why he gone now, and the others are still around.

Ariel had a good thing with Fox and ufc and he ruined that. He had the inside official lead with that and ruined it jus to get a leak and an edge. Shame on him. I'm sure fighters will still call in and do interviews with him, but really they would be stupid too. The more you work with ufc the more money you make in the end game. If you fight them, you lose. That's what history has shown thus far.

But he's been breaking news for years its only become a problem for zuffa now? Ariel has a family to think about and is much too clever to approach his job trying to make an enemy out of a dictatorship. There is more to this than a differing of opinions in ethics

I was on @TheLukieBaby podcast today and he brought up that perhaps Ariel started doing these leaks to get back at Fox and UFC for him being let go... I was like :ohhh: what I am interested is what the outcome of this will be, Ariel wants back in and UFC may have dirty secrets that he knows. How is this all gonna play out

UFC president Dana White failed to return messages seeking comment.

After initially declining to speak, an emotional Helwani spoke for about 15 minutes Sunday to Yahoo Sports.

“I was brought to the back by UFC [public relations] and told by Dana White that I had to leave the arena,” said Helwani, who said it happened just prior to the main event. “Dana mentioned that from what I recalled that Brock Lesnar was upset the news was released early and that this could have ruined their deal.

“He repeatedly said, ‘Go cover Bellator. We don’t want you here.’ … I said, ‘What did I do wrong?’ He said, ‘You’re too negative.’

Helwani said he had confirmed both reports with two sources. He said he held no ill will toward White or UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta, but said he did not regret reporting the news.

UFC's sad, short-sighted banning of journalists needs to be fixed immediately

Dana said Ariel was full of crap and he says things for click bait. :dead:
