Very easy solution to Connor wanting more money u up his ppv buy %. That way if he wants more then go sell da fight more. If it sells big u cash in if it doesn't then too bad.

But otherwise, most of these guys who be complaining bout money or more exposure need 2 look in the mirror. After every big fight another guy is gettin popped for roids or weed. Car crashes, due, domestic abuse, drugs and arrests if they were gettin major money they wld be getting major fines from there's. Right kow it's just a slap on the wrist if that at all.

Also, if fighters wanna have a union then they have to understand your then a partner with ufc in promoting and selling this business, Aldo and Weidman that was sum piss poor performances for 2 marquee fights. Aldo u cldve at least last a full round so bars and events can get sum more concession $$. Weidman I don't think u even threw a left punch the last 2 rounds. U looked like u were sparring jus throwing random kicks after. If u expect bigger money for performances like that in the spot light, then y'all r krazy.

I like your advice with the bigger ppv % there should be incentives like that to the fighters that actually are marquee and feel like they can generate a draw.

This. The UFC has never really taken care of their top guys as well as they should have, both financially and even publicly. I still can't believe how Dana treated GSP in the post fight press conference after his last fight against Hendricks. They've also shyt on Jon Jones and I'm glad Jones is calling them out on it.

I think fighters should step up and try to organize for better pay and having more rights, and I'm not quite sure they haven't moved on this yet, but the good news is that stories in the media (both mma media and mainstream) about fighter pay, the Reebok deal, all of this stuff...these stories are having more traction and staying power than they were 3-5 years ago. If Conor is able to get himself a deal where he's making 7 figures per fight, he could really change the structure of how Zuffa does business, and I hope that happens.
I hate that GSP fans sought therapy over that incident when not only was it long overdue but understandable. Dana and the zuffa coddled gsp for the longest time because he was one of their ambassadors/top draws. He had a million stinkers but they would put a silver lining around it (even when fans booed his fights) whilst holding Anderson to account when he went only 2 fights without a finish, it was strange.

For the longest time he presented himself as one thing but would do the other. "I want to fight the best" Hendricks is the number 1 contender but he chooses to fight a one-dimensional stylistically favourable diaz who was not only coming off an L but had been on a year long schnide, why? For money. Only how many times did he say "I don't fight for money".

For most his career he neutralized his opponents with ease the one match where he gets push back and his fight ends in controversy he walks away? Leaving fans and his masters hanging? I thought he was honourable or at least pretended to be. One second he is saying he's walking away to take a break next second it's I choose to leave and won't return until the sport is cleaned up. Zuffa had every right to put it out there that he owed everyone a definitive answer, if you are retiring gets some nuts and say it rather than dance around the issue

This is true. Serra scared the Rush out of his nickname, and he really did start fighting super safe. The fight against Dan Hardy was especially risk averse to the point of being silly. I also thought he owed a rematch the Hendricks.

I just still thought it was bad business for Dana to kinda shyt on him immediately after the fight. I don't really disagree with any of your points though.

Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
Aldo on the loss:

"We were really sad with what happened, but we're gonna turn it around. I'm past it, it's a sport. Victory and defeat are part of it. How many times did we come out on top? Now, we lost. I'm at peace with it. I'll go back to the gym to train harder and I want a rematch. Every champion who's lost has gotten it, and I think doubly so because of the way I lost - and I don't mean this as an excuse, I did lose - he connected a good strike and got it done, but logically I want the rematch so we can come back much stronger."

im torn, im an aldo fan and wanna see him avenge this lost but frankie really deserves it that shot. Maybe aldo moves up to 155 and takes a fight and tries to hype up a rematch at 155 if conor goes that route

Best thing for Aldo to do is accept he got caught and make a joke about he has a good punch but he would like a rematch. He has manned up to it and that's good. It's a tough break for Frankie :manny:
