If it's about being pretty let's see how they treat Rockholdalan jouban actually is/was and even when he did win ufc weren't pushing him for shyt
I seeth is happening too. Whats hilarious is if it werent for the awful reebok deal he would get major dough from bigger sponsors and shyt and dana wouldnt be as stressed to pay himI expect a public falling out between Connor and Dana because he's gonna try to disrupt their pay structure. You can sense it, he mentions Lorenzo when talking $$$. Connor wants boxing kind of money and if he keeps at it how he's doing his numbers will justify it.
It's gonna be hard for Dana to keep using his famous "we'll take care of him" Schtick.
Watch Frank Fertitta slam the title belt down on the table as Conor wins. Apparently Conor just signed a new deal and wants to a new deal already. I've read thing like 20 mil per fight. We'll see what happens, but there is definitely some friction there, and Conor admitted to Ariel Helwani last night.I expect a public falling out between Connor and Dana because he's gonna try to disrupt their pay structure. I don't know about the slam. It could mean anything honestly. It could just be that he was excited and it was in his hands so he just jumped up and threw it down. I don't wanna read into it but I thought it was interesting at least. What does that mean that he slammed it tho? I think the American fans will turn on Conor when Conor faces Cowboy or someone that's American who has a personality. But Cowboy really comes to mind because he can talk smack back to Conor and he's obviously a fan fav.

This. The UFC has never really taken care of their top guys as well as they should have, both financially and even publicly. I still can't believe how Dana treated GSP in the post fight press conference after his last fight against Hendricks. They've also shyt on Jon Jones and I'm glad Jones is calling them out on it.He's well within his rights to seek his worth IMO, I hope he gets his money. They've been using smoke and mirrors to keep the top guys from really cashing in on their value when things are hot for years.

I think fighters should step up and try to organize for better pay and having more rights, and I'm not quite sure they haven't moved on this yet, but the good news is that stories in the media (both mma media and mainstream) about fighter pay, the Reebok deal, all of this stuff...these stories are having more traction and staying power than they were 3-5 years ago. If Conor is able to get himself a deal where he's making 7 figures per fight, he could really change the structure of how Zuffa does business, and I hope that happens.
I hate that the ufc have even reached this territory, it's shamefulalan jouban actually is/was and even when he did win ufc weren't pushing him for shyt
