"I know for a fact, I'm not leaving this sport without fighting Jon," Weidman said Monday on The MMA Hour. "Unless he's not coming back at all. But if he's there, and I'm here, people are going to want to see it happen. And I want to see it happen."

"That's nothing against Jon," Weidman said. "It's just because I'm a competitor. I want to fight the best possible people. I want to have the biggest challenges in front of me and conquer them.

"That's why I wanted to fight Anderson Silva when nobody else wanted to fight him. I want the biggest challenges. I want to beat people who people think I can't beat. And Jon is definitely going to be one of those guys."

Chris Weidman: ‘I know for a fact, I’m not leaving this sport without fighting’ Jon Jones

Yo Weidman calling out Jon jones every other day while he still has jacare/Romero/rockhold problems.

I really think whenever DC loses he will go down to heavy weight. I just don't see Cain beating Werdum. And DC is not getting the truth respect from the fans. nikkas could careless about him having a title :camby: I like DC too it's just a sad predicament.
DC just needs to defend against Gus and maybe Teixera breh. A couple defenses will shut all the haters up. It was the same with TJ Dillashaw aka. J Dilla :troll: and Weidman. Both called em paper champs and then they fukking ran over their last few opponents (Except Machida. Machida was close, but it's not like it was too close to call) and now nobody is doubting em. If the three of em can make it to 5 defenses with at least 3/4 diff opponents, they'll be hailed properly.

upcoming fight night -

Featherweight Max Holloway vs. Charles Oliveira
Welterweight Neil Magny vs. Erick Silva
Welterweight Patrick Côté vs. Josh Burkman
Lightweight Chad Laprise vs. Francisco Trinaldo
Lightweight Olivier Aubin-Mercier vs. Tony Sims
Women's Strawweight Maryna Moroz vs. Valérie Létourneau
Preliminary Card (Fox Sports 1)
Lightweight Sam Stout vs. Frankie Perez
Bantamweight Yves Jabouin vs. Felipe Arantes
Light Heavyweight Marcos Rogério de Lima vs. Nikita Krylov
Flyweight Chris Kelades vs. Chris Beal
Preliminary Card (UFC Fight Pass)
Lightweight Shane Campbell vs. Elias Silvério
Light Heavyweight Misha Cirkunov vs. Daniel Jolly

I feel like Jabouin v Arantes and Krylov v De Lima should've been moved up to the main card. Who the fukk is Laprise, Mercier, Sims, Moroz and Letourneau? Some names ring a bell but nowhere near main status

Burkman v Cote will be like Fitch vs Ebersole

Magny vs Silva should be a decent scrap.
Obviously Holloway v Oliveira will be a banger:wow:

Zuffa won't rest until one of these blax (who aren't spring chickens mind you) knock the other out of contention :martin:

I'm hoping the two losing fighters face each other immediately after. It's gonna take a pair of competitive fights to make that reasonable though. I've wanted Weidman/Romero and Rockhold/Jacare 2 to go down for a minute and I don't really care which one of those is the title fight as long as I get both those match ups.

194 looking good.

Dana finally got back to stacking cards consistently

For all the talk about MMA declining, this year has been great in terms of intriguing cards and fights across the board.

UFC and Bellator have both been putting out some good stuff.

I see Bisping being spring boarded to the top

Bullshyt matchmaking to protect whomever wins. They will order a remarch for weidman and rockhold anways but whatever. Moose would beat all of them anyways

Moose can probably beat Rockhold but not Weidman. And neither one is getting a rematch. Weidman can't draw shyt to flies. He loses its back to the line. The more he speaks the more I dislike him. He already has the most blandest personality. But Rockhold is a bytch and crybaby. I don't know who to root for.

I don't like TJ and like DC but DC pretty much is straight up a paper champ while TJ, who has a few obstacles to get over, is more legit. Basically, Dillashaw is dealing with something he can't control, which is Cruz and Assuncao staying uninjured. While DC basically has to beat Jon Fukking Jones. But either way, I'll enjoy DC as champ so no complaints here.

Yup. Until DC beats/destroys Jones, people aren't gonna give him credit. It's always gonna be what if, why, you're second, etc.
