Jose spitting the truth:wow:
"Many people told me to fight on because of the money I could make, but I am not for sale, regardless of the price that may be offered. I fight because I love what I do and because I represent my country.

Money, to me, comes as a consequence. It's like a shadow. You can't catch it if you try, but should you go ahead it will follow you.

Money ends someday, but your legacy and acomplishments are timeless, and that's the most important thing to me."

MMA fighter Alexander Gustafsson must wait for their title bout in the UFC. Master Daniel Cormier is damaged.

Gustafson's manager Tomas Ghassemi told TT that according to what he heard about a knee injury, there will be no fight against the "DC" in Las Vegas in early September, but he hopes that "The Mauler" get the chance later in the fall.

The 28-year-old Swede has won eight of eleven fights in the UFC. The three losses have come against Phil Davis in 2010, in the title match against Jon Jones 2013 against Anthony Johnson in Tele2 Arena in January of this year.

"The Mauler" was forced to abandon the match against Glover Teixeira in Berlin on 20 June due to a back injury.

Is there a more protected fighter then Gus? Dude got a title shot after a streak with his best win being a washed Shogun. Then hes gifted another shot after beating Manuwa. And now he gets one more after getting absolutely slaughtered by Rumble. Such bullshyt. Make him fight Bader if DC is out

All of the guys that have easily paved roads to the belt definitely have something in common :mjpls:

It appears that Lyoto Machida will continue to keep fighting in the octagon. The 37-year-old former champion has fought in the UFC for over eight years and compiled an impressive list of accolades, but has taken a lot of damage in his last few fights.

Lyoto's manager Ed Soares told UFC Tonight that his fighter was not retiring, and will return when he recovers from nasal surgery he underwent on Sunday after Romero battered him.
