Yeah "life and career" is dramatic as fukk and corny. You caught him with a good punch Rumble, he's ok, calm the fukk downEh...Rumble is making too much of it now...
He's confusing confidence with disrespect, imo

Dude actually was talking on this and he said he's been trying to get fights like this for a while but Joe Silva always blew him off. He's been trying to get a fight at 170 as well and the only reason they gave it to him was because otherwise that card in Denver would have fallen apart.you and many others act like this is naturally who he is, before his controversial loss to cowboy (who the ufc didn't think bendo was important enough to notify about being his opponent) I don't recall any of this. Dude knew he could've easily been fitch'd with his most recent L and recognizes what cowboy does is effective so is imitating, It's sort of a dry way of licking coporate ass
nothing about AJ that's for sure his sole focus should be about coming back as a better fighter and all that yada. Given what happened in reality and his track record against "athletic" wrestlers his comment is deluded and absurd. I have heard of bravado that is just crazy talk straight up fantasistWhat was Gus supposed to say?.

Rumble has been nothing but respectful. I would expect the same from Gus.
"I win over Anthony Johnson six out of seven days," Gustafsson told Swedish MMA. "But, the only thing that wasn't supposed to happen, happened. One day you are on the top, the other day you're on the bottom. That's how it works."
The title eliminator bout with Johnson lasted just over two minutes, but Gustafsson seems to be internalizing the loss more than anything.
"Not much," Gustafsson said of post-fight takeaways. "I hadn't time to show my potential. The fight didn't last long. But I learned to have a better defense. Keep your hands up and your chin down and to be ready for anything. You can't relax, even for a millisecond in this sport. Because that's what happened, the fight was fast.
"There's not much you can say about that fight. He hit me and he hit me good. Sometimes that's enough. I try to face my demons. You have that doubt and lack of self confidence. You feel that you're not good enough to be the best in the world and that's the hardest thing about it all, something you have to go through and process. I know I have potential to be the best in the world. It's just a damn setback when you lose like this."
That's why I don't like that Euro trash piece of shyt. Always running his mouth after getting a beating.
How was Gus being disrespectful?
Dude is a confident fighter.
Nothing to see here at all, tbh
edit: video of the "disprespect"
Even tho I dont blame them it seems kind of funny to see a guy in his prime basically be handed to the number 2, like black Tom Cassidy handing lilandra to Eric the red. "Take her, with regards to the prince"@MMASun

So Phil Davis is near a lock to Bellator. UFC has right to match...doubt they do. Expect him to sign a Bellator offer sheet.
