Glad someone else said that. I listen to the podcast when there's a good guest on, and I used to listen a lot more. I'd even consider myself a pretty big Rogan fan, but NOT his comedy. I find a lot of his stand up not funny at all, and I think his style doesn't actually translate to his personality all that well. His most recent special that I saw was his best, but still not great. I think a lot of his older stuff is actually damn near cringe-worthy level bad. Or at least not my style. Same thing with a lot of his boys actually.

Bryan Callen I think is a pretty good guest on the podcast (when he isn't talking over everyone) and I check some of Callen's podcast episodes. But I think Callen's stand up is pretty damn bad.

Joey Diaz is the funniest dude that runs with Rogan and co by far. I'd rather hear Rogan laugh at Joey Diaz stories than listen to Rogan's stand up. Ironically he's much better at talking about serious topics than funny topics.

sure they will. they've been pushing this guy just as hard as he's been pushing himself. he's an exciting, unorthodox, trash-talking finisher who has a huge following already. plus he's white. they'd be crazy not to want dude to be a champion....and the only way that's happening is if they do indeed feed him to the wolves. no matter what you think about the marketing machines behind guys, when it comes down to it, the fighters have to win fights. period.

This is true. My concern with Connor being the champ/getting the strap is his takedown defense. He reminds me of the Diaz Bros that way. Maybe his defensive wrestling is really good, I don't know. If he can tighten that up I think he can be really successful.

At a recent UFC news conference Diaz explained that targeting an opponent's potentially inured body part can be counterproductive.

"When someone tells you a fighter's injured and they tell you to go after an injury, it really throws you off," said Diaz as transcribed by Dave Doyle for Yahoo Sports. "It would be sad to lose a fight on account of, you're trying to concentrate on capitalizing on someone's weakness when it comes to injury and something like that, [rather than fighting] your fight without worrying about something like that." - Nick on targeting Silva's leg.

This reminds me of something Greg Jackson mentioned.. don't hunt for the finish, but capitalize when it comes up.
Hunting for that body part can fukk up your game plan and poof you got subbed or ko'd.

pettis v melendez and hendrix vs lawler comin up shyt i'm glad that's happening
browne vs schaub!! two of my most hated fighters. i don't even know who i want to lose. the balding amish mofukka or 'big brown' that knocked out my hero Cro Cop
Todd Duffee vs Anthony Hamilton meh probably duffee by ko, i don't see either becoming contenders anytime soon.

tony ferg vs abel.. i hope ferg beats his ass. i don't like abel after he fouled bowling. dude also looks like he wears make up
