And if anything moves drastically from the position you set it in... Meaning it falls back when it shouldn't or comes up front when it shouldn't ... And it feels like you need to touch the fader while the music is playing...
I shouldn't be touching the fader correct?
@Payroll
Yes that's the 1st thing I do
Nope I didn't touch the fader at all
Yea I believe it is? I should cut around there ?
If it is something needs to cut right? Also I'm using a drum loop on this particular beat
I gain stage every track before I eq and do other stuffYou added the bassline after you already finished the beat and gain staged the other sounds? If so you have to set the gain on the bass to match those other sounds.
After you get the gain right you gotta use the faders to get the levels right. Either the bass is too loud or you need to filter from 200 down and see if that controls the bass.

Can y'all check my mix? Is it still that bad?
Way too loud. Bring the instruments down so the drums can hit.
Probably need to eq the highs as well.
How come i don't hear these things???
I mean i try to compare my soundquality to Apollo Brown - Clouds. That's my reference album.
And his mixes are about the same loudness as mine now.
I hear it immediately. The highs are too much. Snare is too loud.
Something sounds off to me. Are you using a lot of reverb?
Here's 2 examples. I personally think the 100% wet fits better cause it's an 80's song and we all know 80's music is known for having a lot of Reverb. (Which i usually like from that time)
