I try to stay out of political discussion. I really do. I have my opinions and you have yours, and 99.9% of the time I've grown to respect that.

However, if you plan to vote for Mitt Romney, please consider what he thinks of people that voted for Obama:

"There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what," Romney is heard saying in the video. "All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you name it. That, that's an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what."

There is no possible connotation that justifies vilifying people like this. How can you be a president of all of the United States with such contempt for half the damn country?

Does he not realize how many people rely on Social Security and Medicare and Unemployment? Those people ARE dependent on the goverment. Those people ARE victims. Those people paid taxes when they were better off and they ARE entitled to the assistance they so desperately need.

Plus, his little diatribe has racist undertones all through it.

If you've read all this, and still plan on voting for this guy, please remove me from your Friends list. I simply cannot understand why anyone would willingly support such a fukking crooked piece of shyt like this.

#1 Story on Google News now. Basically every major news service is picking it up. You can argue about whether the video kills Romney's campaign (I think it's already dead), but bottom line is this; It's Monday, and instead of "revamping" the campaign like they had been talking about this morning, the Romney campaign and all the conservative pundits are going to be spending the rest of the week doing damage control against this story.

AT THE VERY LEAST, this video set the Romney campaign back a week with very little time left until Election Day.
