If Jim ends up with the Los Angeles Chargers, which some believe could be announced before Friday, it might just be Jay and Jesse Minter who go with him ... if Jesse doesn't, he'll almost undoubtedly be in the NFL somewhere else. Some now believe Grant Newsome will stay if it's Sherrone Moore as head coach (which we expect), so he'd likely coach the offensive line. That would be big. As noted, Grant would have gone with Jim to Minnesota, probably, and he was thought to be in line to leave.

Strength coach Ben Herbert is "too rich for L.A.'s blood," it appears, which would be great news for Michigan, of course. They estimate it would cost them $1.6 million to take him, and it doesn't sound like they'd be willing to do that. We are NOT saying that's a done deal ... just the way it's trending tonight per sources close to it.

We'll see what happens. Nothing yet is set in stone. But we'll continue to keep you updated.

I honestly don't know why minter isn't as considered for the job. I'll take a DC to HC over an OC every time

I want michigna to stick with power football the way shaw took over after harbaugh left at stanford
Less people are trying to be what we can be. Even wisconsin has gone away from it

Spread teams have defenses that cant handle bully ball

Heard the chargers haven't interviewed two minority candidates yet? So can't be announced before Friday

I know they interviewed Leslie Frazier and they're saying the other one was private or some shyt. Either way, harbs is gone.. and that's fine. You just can't have him hold the program hostage.

With Sherrone as coach, who would yall like as OC and DC? Minter will be gone too but I wonder if Newsome/Jay Harbaugh stick around for a shot at OC.

Also wonder who is the most likely to transfer out of the program :lupe:

Harbaughs just interviewed with ATL and the Chargers? Seems like he'd at least interview with the Raiders before deciding if you believe the early reports.
