Mitchell is almost certainly playing WR though and don't forget Hawkins.

I really wish we kicked Sean McKeon out of the class to be one hundred. Nothing on that kid's film reads Wolverine. My little cousin is tight who is from the area, like "Bar, I'm better than this dude I promise you but Michigan doesn't recruit us."
Safeties probably

Today, 2016 offensive tackle Erik Swenson announced he de-committed from Michigan after being a pledge since 2013 under Brady Hoke.

One thing we know for sure is that Jim Harbaugh and the new Michigan staff has had minimal contact with Swenson, which almost always means that things are not good or that the particular school is trying to send a message that they should look around elsewhere.

With a top five class that could climb to No. 1 by signing day, Michigan is in position to do what they want and take players they feel are a great fit for what they are looking for. Reading between the lines, it does not appear that Swenson was a fit for Michigan.

When a “de-commit” like this happens, it can look bad for the particular school because Michigan can’t give their side of things as they aren’t allowed to comment on current recruits. There is no nice way to tell a recruit “we don’t want you anymore” so the best way is to hint or just stop recruiting a prospect, as Michigan tried to do. This can look bad from the outside but it's recruiting and these situations happen a lot.
@dh86 he got the Scott Weaver Enis type treatment chose to stay committed:manny:

n the wink of an eye, a whole bunch of stuff happened today on the recruiting trail for the Wolverines. Let's try to cover what's going on going forward.
Commits looking and visiting

Three current Michigan verbal commitments will be taking official visits elsewhere this weekend.

Michael Onwenu is scheduled to officially visit Michigan State this upcoming weekend after the Spartans put forth an offer earlier this week. Of the three players taking visits elsewhere, his is the one we're least looking at as far as a potential flip. Still, a visit is a visit, and Onwenu has connections to the Spartans through both former teammates and family attending the school.

Jordan Elliott will officially visit Texas this weekend. It was originally supposed to be next weekend, but was apparently pushed up. Frankly, this is a recruitment I will continue to cover, but give up on as far as trying to opine on how it will finish. After literally about 20 public interviews in which he said he would sign with Michigan and wasn't talking to any other schools, he will visit Austin this weekend. I'm waiting to hear back from his camp regarding his intentions heading towards NSD, and will update accordingly, but for now, who knows how this will end. Jim Harbaugh is scheduled to be in-home with Elliott on Wednesday night. We are fully expecting him to press for Elliott to reaffirm his pledge and not visit Texas. Again, who knows if it will be successful or not.

Nate Johnson will officially visit Notre Dame this weekend, a visit that has been planned for a little over a week. Johnson's plan for a while has been to either re-affirm his Michigan commitment or make a choice to a different school. One source I spoke with on Wednesday said if his official visit to South Bend goes well that they could flip the late-riser from the Wolverines. Johnson's quote to me earlier this afternoon: "I'm still committed to Michigan. It will take something crazy for me to choose someone else". This one will be interesting, as Michigan wanting to keep Johnson on board was my #1 question heading into National Signing Day.

Jones
Irish247 insider Tom Loy published a report with Orlando (FL) Oak Ridge four-star linebacker Jonathan Jones in which Jones explicitly says that his father heavily favors the Irish in his recruitment. It's a hurdle that the Wolverine coaching staff has been trying to overcome for a while now, and it's a situation where the chances continue to grow more and more bleak.

Don Brown was schedule to be in Orlando on Wednesday morning to check in with Jones, and it won't be the last time Michigan sees him before National Signing Day, which is when we are expecting Jones to make his verbal pledge to either the Irish or the Wolverines.

After looking like a lock for months, I think it's safe to say that Notre Dame is trending in this recruitment right now.
today is not a good day:sadcam: this weekend tho:obama:

So I guess in addition to being a weirdo Harbaugh is also an unethical scumbag. This incident with Swenson only confirms that.

I can't wait until we run Harbaugh out of Ann Arbor just like we did Carr, Rodriguez, Hoke, and all those other shytty coaches.

Every college scholarship ever offered has some stipulations to it. We will never be privy to the communication between Harbaugh and Swenson upon hiring. I mean, it's not like Urban telling a player to medically retire one month after said player played in the national title game

Of course every recruit should keep their backup plans open but Jordan Elliott reminds me of Chris Clark

scUM is always going to be scUM :youngsabo:. Even Meyer honor the prior commitments before he join Ohio State in 2012. What is this lunatic excuse???
Meyer roster didn't need an influx of talent like we do.That OSU team was ready made when he took the job why you OSU clowns so worried about us?:dwillhuh::jbhmm:
