Bo Dever Done For Michigan

Processed.
The amount of fukks that HarGAWD gives is quickly approaching negative 0.
We're on our way back boys ...
So there's 17 spots open for next year but are looking to recruit a #Fab25 freshman class........lol
I think a lot of the RS Juniors won't be returning after the season. Going to have earn that extra year.

It's the $ec/buckeye effect.
We tried to win without curving corners, and it's been proven with the recent national championship winners that it isn't possible.. So times are changing. We're gonna thread every rule there is, just like all of the other elite teams out there.
This much is true.. Michigan rumblings will start this season.. But starting with next season and on.. Michigan will be a fukking problem again. For years to come..
in addition to @@ChrisBalas' update yesterday, which you can find here, a few more rumblings from fall camp.
• Perhaps the biggest note is that redshirt junior Jeremy Clark has switched positions, moving from safety to cornerback to fill a significant need. The Wolverines like junior Jourdan Lewis at the cornerback spot but want more competition for grad-senior Wayne Lyons, junior Channing Stribling and redshirt freshman Brandon Watson. Clark, at 6-4, 205 pounds, has the length and size, plus good speed, to really compete for playing time immediately, and with a glut of safeties on the roster, the move makes a lot of sense.
From early indications, Clark has been one of the better performers at cornerback and could get a quick look to start the year.
• Michigan is in a 3-4 defense most of the time, and the front seven has been "nasty" in one source's estimation, but the coaches have backed off the press-man coverage scheme they wanted to employ because they simply do not feel they have enough physical cornerbacks to run it. They're in "tinkering" mode right now trying to figure out how to best use the personnel they do have back there.
• The defense is ahead of the offense, no shock there, but by one account, it's significantly ahead right now, and the question that always leads to is whether the defense is really, really good or the offense is just bad. Michigan is hoping its the former.
• Redshirt freshman safety Jabrill Peppers had not played offense yet. There has been "talk" of him playing on offense from players on the team, but he's been so far focused on defense.
• While there have been some positive reports on junior Shane Morris, in this person's estimation, the job remains senior Jake Rudock's to lose. Rudock has been the sharpest of the QBs and has made the fewest mistakes.
• At receiver, freshman Brian Cole has been an early standout, showing the ability to make something happen when he has the ball. While redshirt junior Jehu Chesson and redshirt freshman Drake Harris have also been running very good routes and have shown an ability to get behind the defense on vertical plays.
OL stuff: Michigan's current starting offensive line appears to be similar to last year except for one switch: Ben Braden has been taking reps at left guard, and Erik Magnuson has moved over to right tackle. That gives us a line of the following:
LT: Cole
LG: Braden
C: Glasgow
RG: Kalis
RT: Magnuson
Two other names I was told positive things about were true freshman tackle Grant Newsome and redshirt sophomore guard David Dawson. Newsome has taken some of his reps with the twos, while Dawson is probably the best non-starter on the line at this point.
WR: Nothing incredibly new regarding the wide receivers except for a reiteration that true freshman Grant Perry has been having an awesome camp so far.
According to the source I spoke with, who is not the same as the last notes we put together, Perry has been taking his slot repsexclusively with the first team.
It's appearing more and more that the Brother Rice product is going to see the field early and often inside. Outside of the veterans in Chesson and Darboh, the battle on the outside continues. I wasn't given any specifics as to who was standing out there, but Brian Cole is a name to continue to watch.
Injury scare: I can confirm that true freshman tight end Tyrone Wheatley Jr. did sustain a knee injury during practice this past week.
The original fear was that he tore some ligaments in the knee, but upon further review and an examination, he has a knee sprain and is expected to miss only a few weeks instead of the entire season.
This may hinder his development as fall camp is of the utmost importance for prospects who didn't enroll early. Michigan has originally viewed Wheatley as someone who possibly could have seen some playing time this season at the tight end spot. It remains to be seen whether or not that holds up.
QB battle: Not a ton new to report on the quarterback battle. There's been continued rotation up front as the coaches go through the motions to narrow things down.
Our money continues to be on Iowa transfer Jake Rudock to eventually win the job, but that's not off of anything concrete that we've been told at this juncture.
Camp atmosphere: One thing we know for sure: this camp has been tougher than any of the camps that Brady Hoke held in his four seasons in Ann Arbor. This is something we've confirmed with multiple sources.
It really fits the "make practice hard to make the games easier" mantra that many, including Jabrill Peppers, noted during Michigan's Media Day on August 6th.
On the flip side, I've talked to multiple people that say the players have been better prepared for the camp because of what Kevin Tolbert has done for them in the weight room. His approach in the physical development of the players is a lot more individualized than what the players were taught under the last staff. It's the type of thing that should pay dividends for players like Jake Butt or Chris Wormley, who had previous knee injuries and are 100% fully recovered.
