People are saying that he is looking out for assistants. He realizes what it takes to be a successful and sustainable foundation. He needs a great staff too. That is why Bret Bielema went to Arkansas. He got tired of losing his great assistants. Assistants in the SEC are making over a million a year. Not in the big ten though.

I can't fully buy the loves Michigan thing 100%. He has a huge staff in SF and wants that to continue at Michigan. He wants to win. He alone isn't going to make the W's happen, his staff is going to play a significant part in that. His legacy and such is on the line. He has to get this right. His staff has to be impeccable.
