Breh, if we can land Fuller, Long, Hardman, Hill, and Corley .. and add them to Pepp ... we can literally not have to worry about playmakers anymore. All of these kids play all over the place, and they're elite at what they do. I know Hardman is the long shot of the group, but closing this recruiting cycle with the #1 DT, #1 TE, #1 ATH, #1 K, and #1 RB... I think we'd be headed in the right direction.
Hardman
huge longshot imagine with him&Peppers on offense
most likely UGA tho.All that elite talent added to roster that improved by 4 wins couple more years I won't fear anyone in CF because I know we'll have the talent to match anybody
.
Here's an update on Nauta from a UGA perspective
Word came early Sunday that Mark Richt would no longer be the head coach at the University of Georgia. One five-star sort of saw this coming.
Tight end Isaac Nauta (Dacula, Ga./IMG Academy), the No. 9 overall prospect in the 2016 class.
"I am surprised and I am not," Nauta said. "I was more surprised when news came out that people up top thinking about making a change. When I heard that, I heard this was a real possibility. At the end of the day, it is just business. That coaching staff is full of great guys, but in the SEC now, if you want to make it to the playoff, the least you can have is one loss. This is just a business decision, and it is completely understandable."
Nauta spoke to tight ends coach John Lilly and director of player personnel Todd Hartley on Sunday.
"Hartley told me he would probably see me on the road, and that he would keep me posted on the coaching situation," Nauta said. "Coach Lilly is a really optimistic guy, and he is a big believer that everything happens for a reason. He let me know what was going on and what he thought was behind it. He is such a great guy. It is definitely going to be weird if he does not stay - not seeing his face around Georgia."
The 6-foot-4, 237-pound senior is confident the Bulldogs will make solid decisions during the hiring process.
"I know for a fact that, because it's the University of Georgia, there is going to be a really good head coach and coaching staff in there," Nauta said. "We will just have to wait and see who it is."
All five official visits are in the books for Nauta, with the five-star taking the first one to Georgia back in September. Alabama, Michigan, Ole Miss and Oklahoma State got the other four officials, and some feel Michigan is the biggest competition for the Bulldogs. Nauta is unsure how the coaching changes will affect Georgia's chances.
"It depends on who it is," Nauta said. "If there is a coach brought in that I have a previous relationship with, especially on the recruiting trail, then no. I am going to have to look into everything -
how the offensive coordinator uses the tight ends - to make sure I am making the right decision."
The feeling is that Georgia will have a hire made in the next week or so, which opens up the possibility of Nauta returning to Athens for the Gala senior banquet Dec. 12 to meet the new coach.
"That is something I will look at to see if I can do," Nauta said.
This is such an easy decision
him being so close to home is a huge factor here
Btw Nauta is highest rated TE in recruiting history Harbaugh could do wonders with him
