most projections have us in the citrus bowl against UF.Highly doubt they let a 2 loss team in. We would need so many teams to lose just seems improbable at this point

There is a doomsday scenario that gets us in. I think we have to be in the top 10 by the time the OSU game happens for this to work. With Florida St and Memphis losing, we are probably 15th.

Baylor, Oklahoma, Ok St, and TCU still has many round robin games with each other with only one of the 4 having a leg up on us.

The committee seems resolute in getting Alabama in the top 4 even if they lose again and not in the sec title game. This means it's in our best interest that Alabama loses in the SEC title game to Florida as the final viewing.

Alternately, Alabama is the only other team that could make it with 2 losses. Which means LSU, Notre Dame, TCU, MSU, Florida, Stanford, Utah, Oklahoma all can't lose again. That's 8 of the spots in between 15 and 4. We theoretically have unbeaten OSU and Iowa upcoming. There's a chance

Houston jumps way up the rankings and gets the sympathy vote if they beat Memphis and temple and are 13-0. That, a lingering Alabama, and MSU beating Ohio St are the chief concerns

I agree. Best case scenerio is for iowa & ohio state to both stay undefeated. If Michigan were to beat them in consecutive weeks along with a few teams loosing then making the playoffs could defenitely happen.

I still dont believe in clemson, they look very beatable and I think UNC will be the team to do it. Stanford is currently ranked 12th and either them or ND are a lock to at least get one spot. TCU knocked themselves out with a loss last week & this week I think OU will beat baylor.

Right now michigan is the highest ranked 2 loss team & moved up three spots from last week. I think ohio st will stay undefeated until that last game but Its very possible iowa will lose @ nebraska.
