Nauta we have a good shot at regardless.Harbaugh uses his TE UGA not so much Richt get's fired just increases our chances.Thing with him is he's from Buford GA so its gonna be tough to beat them out regardless.Eason I have no clue I doubt he'll leave UGA might just hire Mike Bobo back to keep him
I don't disagree but he's pretty adamant about Mark Richt bring the HC. If he gets fired, we're #2. I like our chances if that happens.

Some recruiting news:
Another prospect where Michigan's coaches are growing more confident in is with one of the big fish on the market in five-star tight end Isaac Nauta.

Tumult is starting to set in around Georgia, where Mark Richt's job security is becoming a legitimate issue. On Monday, I was on the MGoBlog radio show with Brian Cook and Ace Anbender, and Cook opined that a rough job situation could potentially be an "out" for someone like Nauta, whose interest in the Bulldogs has mainly been driven by proximity and prestige and not fit.

Ironically enough, after talking to somebody I trust on Tuesday, that was almost verbatim the scenario I was given as well. Michigan's clear signs of progress under Jim Harbaugh, a potentially amazing 2016 class and their incredibly versatile and pro-style use of the tight end reportedly has Nauta strongly thinking about the Wolverines following his official visit for the Michigan State game.

I'm not sounding the "Nauta to Michigan" horn yet; not by any means. I would say, however, that the Wolverines have never been more confident in their chances with him and that he may have moved into the forefront of Michigan's recruiting efforts on the offensive side of the ball along with Kareem Walker. As someone who absolutely considered him a Georgia lock after his decommitment from Florida State, this is progress I wouldn't have ever expected in his recruitment.

I joined Steve Wiltfong with a Crystal Ball on Michigan after the news of Kareem Walker decommitting from Ohio State went public. The only thing I was really waiting for was for him to open his recruitment back up, and he's done that.

The word I've repeated on the board regarding this recruitment was "slugfest" as in a slugfest between Michigan and Ohio State for his services. The dominoes are incredibly simple to follow here, however, as Ohio State's push for Antonio Williams was always a clear sign that they weren't necessarily confident about where things stood with Walker. This is despite the public comments Walker continued to make as he mulled over opening things back up.

As Steve said, and I can reiterate after talking to a couple people tonight, the biggest hurdle in his recruitment in Michigan's mind was getting him to back out of his pledge to the Buckeyes. The other programs involved have not been viewed as a major threat (Bama, Ole Miss, Arizona State), at least not at this juncture. Once that happened, the confidence in Ann Arbor that Walker will eventually become a Wolverine went way, way up.

one more article on Kareem Walker

Wayne (N.J.) DePaul Catholic Top50 running back Kareem Walker and Ohio State parted ways on Tuesday.

This recruitment was trending this way for quite some time.

I continue to hear Michigan is sitting in strong position for the nation's No. 1 ranked running back according to the 247Sports Composite and forecasted the Wolverines on the 247Sports Crystal Ball earlier this evening.

Michigan hosted Walker for an official visit in October.

While Arizona State, Ole Miss and Florida State among others look to also be in play, it's hard to imagine those schools can beat out Michigan with what the Wolverines are doing in New Jersey. Walker keeps in regular touch with Chris Partridge and Tyrone Wheatley on the Michigan staff.

Michigan already has verbals from Ahmir Mitchell, Ron Johnson and Brad Hawkins and would love to close with Walker, Jordan Fuller and the nation's No. 1 recruit Rashan Gary out of New Jersey. Receiver Donald Stewart takes an official at the end of the month as well.

Hoping he becomes the #1 back Drake has good vision almost always get's positive yardage plus a threat in the screen game stay healthy plz:mjcry:

Speaking of Drake .. tell me ONE person that Harbaugh has influenced more than him. Listen to this dude talk when asked about Wilton Speight's ability to throw the ball.

:heh:

That sounded like the EXACT answer Harbaugh would give. .. :deadrose:

I'll gladly take him :manny:

He can't be much worse then what we already have back there already:manny:

I've been pretty harsh on Kareem Walker, but I just realized something. The film of his that I've seen was his Sophomore film. I dont think there's any senior year film yet. In his Soph film, you could see talent, but I just didn't see the number 1 back in the country on that film. I wonder if there's senior year highlights anywhere?
