Some recruiting news:
Another prospect where Michigan's coaches are growing more confident in is with one of the big fish on the market in five-star tight end Isaac Nauta.

Tumult is starting to set in around Georgia, where Mark Richt's job security is becoming a legitimate issue. On Monday, I was on the MGoBlog radio show with Brian Cook and Ace Anbender, and Cook opined that a rough job situation could potentially be an "out" for someone like Nauta, whose interest in the Bulldogs has mainly been driven by proximity and prestige and not fit.
Ironically enough, after talking to somebody I trust on Tuesday, that was almost verbatim the scenario I was given as well. Michigan's clear signs of progress under Jim Harbaugh, a potentially amazing 2016 class and their incredibly versatile and pro-style use of the tight end reportedly has Nauta strongly thinking about the Wolverines following his official visit for the Michigan State game.
I'm not sounding the "Nauta to Michigan" horn yet; not by any means. I would say, however, that the Wolverines have never been more confident in their chances with him and that he may have moved into the forefront of Michigan's recruiting efforts on the offensive side of the ball along with Kareem Walker. As someone who absolutely considered him a Georgia lock after his decommitment from Florida State, this is progress I wouldn't have ever expected in his recruitment.
