I hope so. I'm kind of mad Harbaugh let some of these low ranked recruits commit so fast but

he had to establish himself out on recruiting trailsome of those lower ranked players play for really good HS programs.He might have an approach where taking some lower ranked kids especially from the south can help with their much higher ranked teammates.Before we started playing we really weren't in position to be picky as these kids had no idea what our team would look like.Harding and Reese probably won't be in the class. Who knows about some of the seniors if they get a 5th year?QB somebody is gonna transfer they'll make room to get 28 if needed

If Walker, Gary, Hill, Long, Nauta, Crawford, fuller, jackson.Bush JR-these type of kids wanna come here you better believe they'll make room some these kids are elite talents which we still lack

Exactly. Remember ... we only have a number of guys graduating, but if a senior has taken a redshirt year because of injury or for whatever reason, we dont HAVE to honor a 5th year on the scholarship. Scholarships are 4 year commitments. If you get granted a 5th year, it's because we need you back pretty much. Or we can see you playing a pivotal role for us.

Put it this way .. if there's a 5th year senior that wants to come back.. to be used sparingly ... and we have to decide between him and the 5 star, blue chip recruit ... then the kids not getting a 5th year. Not on scholarship anyways.

schools in the south they are year to yearif that is what it takes to get back up on top where we can compete with the likes of OSU Bama type talent level so be itlong as we not cheating

Even our kicker from last year might kick rocks (Andrew David) if we flip Quinn Nordin from Penn State.

I think Ross Taylor Douglas is more likely to transfer than Green unless Green's pride/ego get the better of him

With Drake Johnson gone and Smith potentially entering the draft, I think he has a shot next year.
