He played, but you can tell the difference when Ross and Jenkins-Stone is in the game. They get to the ball in a hurry.

he played 2 series they used Peppers as 2nd LB/Nickel since BYU is mostly a spread throw offense. He played the 1st series they ran directly to his side 20 yard gain pulled instantly pulled

ive been hoping they would give his snaps to james ross

Yeah Ross needs to play against MSU because they will go directly at him.The Utah game he was beyond awful only Mario O. was worse against OSU he blamed himself for the big runs on their 1st drive.Against any type of athleticism he struggles can't drop him in zone coverage can't cover sideline to sideline if there is a weak link on D so far its him

Michigan hosted the nation's top recruit in Paramus Catholic 5 star defensive end Rashan Gary.

Gary was accompanied by his mother Jennifer Coney. Both have been on campus multiple times in the past and the Wolverines program continues to make an impression.

“He got a good rapport with the fellow teammates,” Coney started in on what her son enjoyed the most.

“Rashan wants to major in business so we went to the Ross School of Business. He was intrigued with the things they explained to him. Academics for me are very important. Football is just temporary, even if its 10 years, and I want Rashan to have a degree of substance. The academic part is important to me. And it’s just as important to him. It was a good visit.”

Gary, who is also considering offers from the likes of Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia and LSU among others sees the total package for himself at Michigan.

“I think that he feels he would be successful athletically and academically,” Coney said. “I believe he feels if he works hard and plays hard he has a chance to get some early playing time as a freshman.”

Gary is real comfortable around head coachJim Harbaugh, defensive coordinator D.J. Durkin, defensive line coach Greg Mattisonand football director of recruiting Chris Partridge, who coached him at Paramus Catholic last season.

“Just a better feel for the coaching staff,” Coney said of growing that over the weekend. “Of course Coach Partridge is there and that’s always a comfort zone. He knows Rashan, knows me, he knows us from us going to Paramus Catholic. It was just a good experience.”

One of the best parts of the visit was the Michigan fans.

“I think he came out of it with a great experience,” Coney said. “When we got back to the airport in Detroit everyone had on Michigan gear, and even when we landed in Newark, he saw all the people wearing Michigan gear, and everyone knew Rashan and he was a big deal in the airport and big deal on the plane, and I think he saw a Michigan degree does travel and it is substantial.”

The only visit Gary has scheduled moving forward is an official to Auburn over Thanksgiving weekend. A decision is expected at either the Under Armour All-American game in January or National Signing Day in February.

:blessed:

Win, and they will come.
