You think current talent is at the same level Hoke had when we lost to Rutgers in 2014? This is the best level of talent we’ve brought in since the mid 90s. Rich Rod had guys starting that would be scout team status today. You can’t look at a coach that lost to Toledo then look at Harbaugh and say “same thing”. We needed speed and a QB and Harbaugh got plenty of both now. Recruiting is the most important thing a coach does. Even when MSU had their years, it was because they lucked into 3 NFL QBs in a row in Hoyer, Cousins & Cook.

Recruiting is the lifeblood of any program.There's enough talent to be contention for BT titles playoff spots for now on.Falling one game short isn't acceptable nor should it be the standard.Harbaugh is the 3rd highest paid coach CF time to earn it

Honestly we can't use recruiting as an excuse.Michigan on average damn near every year is around 6th-10 rankings in not a very rich talent state.Outside the RR years talent has never been the issue at Michigan.Its a coaching problem has been going on for 15+ years now.Harbaugh has his stable of QB's get it done

Nope, I think it gives him more incentive considering how expendable RBs are.

You do know that 2014 roster was the same one harbsugh won with in 2015. Guess why? They got better coaching. That roster was full of nfl players. MSU went to Ohio state and won with a backup qb. That is a well coached team with a game plan. They can recruit lower ranked players and still win the big ten.
