Harbaugh thought he could just turn any tall white guy into a good QB. He was horribly wrong. Now he has to rely on a QB from Ole Miss to save him

Fair enough. Like @Sherminator said, we’ll just have to wait and see. I’m just not feeling the fact that we regressed so badly this year.

Were we young? Sure. But is that a reason for the undisciplined play? What about he lack of fundamentals?

Receiver routes. Blitz pick ups. Stunt pick ups. All of that was lacking.

That’s high school shyt.

We’ll see I guess.

Discipline is usually a youth thing, although some players are just dummies. Kyle Kalis is a prime example of that.

Receiver issues are Jim's fault. While Fisch was also coaching both positions like Pep did this year, he had Chesson and Darboh who were rSophomores when he arrived. That means they already had 3 years with an exclusive position coach. Contrast that with Pep whose only veteran receiver missed time do to off the field stuff. Not hard to see how that may be an issue. Bringing in that Sparty to take over one of those positions ia a good move.

I haven't been impressed with Drevno's line work. While I shyt on the Roman rumor, I'm starting to think he had more to do with Stanford's OL success than Drevno did. Hopefully he gets hired somewhere else because I don't see Jim firing him yet.

If Jim doesn't want to make sweeping changes, that's his prerogative. Year 4 is year 4. Like you said, I guess we'll see how it shakes out.

Bro, I’m a realist. I’ve been involved with this game for far too long. shyts trending in the wrong direction, and instead of making logical decisions, Jim’s got nikkas scratching their heads repeatedly. From kids he recruits, to staffing. So much head scratching. All around.

Jim was supposed to be the second coming. You know damn well you were put on notice when he was hired. He’s been great everywhere he’s been. Dudes lookin mighty comfy collecting that 9 mil per year for subpar results. Dudes all relaxed and accepting on the sidelines this whole year. I don’t care to hear about injuries. He rode with a Speight, then to OKorn then 4 (damn near5) star Peters. Yet we can’t complete a simple 10 hard out route. Not a single fukking slant ran all year. Hitches. Everywhere.

Sadly.

Why the hell would you ever view a coach as a second coming? Lol we discussed these things already. Lots of seniors in 2016, push for the playoffs. We pushed for the playoffs. Lose everybody in 2017 and a step back, we took the step back. In 2018/19 the initial great recruiting classes grow up, and now that’s + Shea Patterson. What’s not on schedule? The QBs? Speight won every healthy start. 12-0. Certain guys said that wasn’t good enough and wanted to see a young ass QB that wasn’t ready, and who Harbaugh constantly told us wasn’t ready. Peters plays and DING, he’s a young ass QB that isn’t ready. Luck didn’t walk in the door at Stanford looking like 4th year Luck either. Relax.

So who we want as the next head coach? Mike Hart, Shawn Crable, or Braylon Edwards?

How is it blind caping? :dwillhuh:

Anyone with common sense would give it 4 years. That's a full cycle and he has his seniors. He inherited a 5-7 team, over achieving in year 1 doesn't change that. That's why I was upset when they fired RichFraud after 3. Let him get his seniors and one last shot to fix the defense.

Think giving coaches adequate time to recruit and install their system is blind caping brehs.:mjlol:
Take a look around college football. You don’t get 4-5 years to Start winning. Stop making excuses for these fools. Football program is trending downward after that terrible last season.

Exactly. Recruiting is trash this year too. Harbaugh got arrogant letting Fisch and Wheatley go. He needed them for recruiting and Fisch for playcalling.

Before I bother wasting my time... are you a Michigan fan?

I'm not being snarky btw, I post infrequently and mostly know the other brehs from Michigan game threads/random thoughts.

I don’t think we regressed, but rather than rack your brain we just gotta chill, I’d be more concerned if we had no idea how we lost and were lacking in multiple areas, i saw some great game plans fall to bad qb play....

I spoke on the podcast that we didn’t have wr leadership or a superstar to lead the young boys
