Drake Harris, Ben Mason, Brad Hawkins switches
- With former wide receiver
Drake Harris switching to defensive back, the roster move does not come as a surprise. Harris switching to defense has been confirmed by Harbaugh since the early days of summer.
- Like Harris, former linebacker Ben Mason's switch to fullback has been common knowledge since the summer. Harbaugh is pleased with the progress Mason has made in his new position and says that he is, "born to play fullback."
-
Brad Hawkins, who played wide receiver in high school, has been switched to safety. Like the aforementioned Harris and Mason, the switch had been common knowledge.
