So heres what I can tell you about peters:
Rivals was over the line with some of the shyt they were saying about him. even so.
He's much more talented than okorn obviously
- he was sulking badly over the course of the summer when he lost the competition
- he has a helicopter dad who made it worse
- during the offseason he wasnt really engaged and his heart wasnt in it

Everything here seems to be true, except for one major fact .. he (and a SIGNIFICANT amount of the team) felt like he did enough to win the competition outright before the season even started. And he didn't feel like Harbaugh was fair in the competition. That's apparently why he sulked. Either way, he should've manned up.. but I get it somewhat.
This coming from McDoom's family. (Family are friends with some of my little cousins friends.. McDoom went to West Orange, little cousin went to Olympia)

Well if/when Peters goes on to lead this team to victories over Minny, Maryland, Wisconsin, and an Ohio State then the QB competition is going to look funny, especially with O'Korn somehow ending up as the backup... Hell the whole meritocracy narrative already looks funny.
As far as Peters sulking goes, what is he 19? Maybe 20? Okay so typical maturity issues? May be not, I know 30 year olds with small kids who sulked after not getting promotions at work. Ostensibly it's the same thing.
