Jessica Jones in Defenders made up for its short comings. Her disinterest was fukking hilarious. Punisher wilds out in the comic books, so the over the top violence was right in tune.

The violence in the series wasn't over the top tho if anything you could say there wasn't enough.

yeah but you can reference the comics plenty without trying to set up future events all the time or hinting at things that have to do with your other franchises

I was getting confused by his dream he kept having. The punisher is miles above DD in my opinion.
