IF he could defend like Marion (he can't. All they have in common is that they have springs and that they're heavily dependent on a PG to set them up)

He's a hard guy to grade because the way I see it, his best contribution to a team would be off the bench where player positions don't mean as much since you mix and match

I kinda see more than you but I agree, off the bench seems like it would be his best role for most teams not named the Spurs, Hawks, or... Well that's about it. He needs to play in those offenses that create offense for the player, not the player has to create for himself.
