I've spent like the past 20 years telling nikkaz it was the best match I ever saw and shyt.
I mean it made sense. Its an iron match so you would spend a majority of it trying to wear your opponent down and target a specific spot. I didnt think of it as "oh they are just trying to waste time until the big spot". Like I said, at the time I thought it was a good match and I'm sure if I watched it again I would think the same. I remember it having the typical Bret Hart psychology mixed with Shawn Michaels' ability to sell and really play up to being a face. I always remember how when he won the match it looked like he had the dog shyt beat out of him. He really sold how much punishment he took and how grueling the match was.Really?

So I think from a ring psychology standpoint that match is a classic. If you like high pace and the way the Mundo v Puma match up played out you would probably think the shawn vs bret match was too slow and kinda boring.
I see watch wrestling hasn't put the new episode up. Hopefully it comes up soon.I just watched last week's anyways earlier today. Gonna try to watch tomorrow if not Saturday.

@ Chavo getting injured three minutes into the match. I wasn't even sure if it was a work or not at first because The Crew got right in the ring like it was a planned distraction. These dudes' improv skills must be GOAT!I guess that Alberto match and promo were added later to fill in the time because it felt mad random to me, plus they didn't announce it beforehand. I keep dying at Marty invading Melissa's personal space during her announcement though.

Where are you watching Lucha Underground these days breh? I've been trying to watch it through the Watch-wrestling xbmc addon but the watch-wrestling team's been fukking up with their XBMC updates, it's been loading the same episode of RAW for everything
