My boys and I are putting together a Vegas trip. Last year we had over 1,000 people and it was dope as fukk. Basically a package deal that gets you 4 nights hotel stay at the Cosmo, entry into 4 pool parties, and entry into 4 nightclubs for one price. Does anyone know if that cosmopolitan trick STILL works? Where u book through Hilton directly and show them the rates on Expedia or another site are cheaper and they give you a 30% discount? I couldn't find the Cosmo on the Hilton site.

Yep still does, only thing is Cosmo got smart and lowered the hell out of the prices, so it's hard as HELL to find cheaper prices then the ones on the website.

damn that's wassup. My boy Chris started the trip a few years back, I got put on last year and we did well and it was a huge success, so this year's trip should be the biggest yet. We haven't even began national promotion yet, how did you hear about it? and where do you live?

Depending on how many rooms you got and how many people you're coming with, I might be able to do something for you. You'd have to have signed up under me though. The different venues give us little perks here and there which we basically just split up and hook up the people that signed up under us. So last year I hooked up some of my boys with an upgrade on their table setup at Marquee, got some other boys a free bottle at Wet Republic, free upgrade to a balcony room at the Cosmo, etc. Just depends on what I got at the time.

there's two separate weeks:

1st week is July 25-29th

2nd week is August 8-12th


Last year, the second week was more poppin and had more people. But as of right now, even though 2nd week has more people, the first week signups is 80% girls currently. So I might have to do both this year

First week also coincides with NBA Summer League, and Vegas is usually LIVE during that time, so it's a good time to get out there.

If you’ve got your airfare and accommodations squared off (let’s say 350 for round trip and 50 bucks a night per head for 3 nights; that’s 500 for that).

Any money you bring after that is all you. Whether another 500 hundred for drinks/food/clubbing, that’s on you. Or 1,000, 1,500 or 2 g’s plus if you wanna ball so hard.

But how much fun you have is depending on your attitude and/or who you’re with.

You can make the most out of any budget as long as you spend right (budget, i.e. eat once a day and binge on your meals, purchase alcohol at CVS before clubbin’ and thuggin’, don’t buy women drinks - just your crew, pack sufficiently but efficiently so you don’t end up coppin’ shiit you don’t need, etc.)

I didn’t realize this until I went dolo last November for work (SEMA). I went with 3 hundred in my wallet and had as good as a time as if I went with my squad. Reason being is because I was out of my element; your boy wasn’t accustomed to traveling alone. But because of the solitary trippage, I found myself interacting with anybody and everybody; the novelty of dipping out of your convert zone is that you meet people you’d generally never interact (and the big upside to this is that it increases your confidence and you’re talking to women of all calibers).

Because of the aforementioned, I got about half a dozen numbers. Well, you say that’s not much considering it was vegas right?

The 3 days I was there, Well I ended up hanging out with one of the girls for half a day (she was just good company for a lonely lad on business), and laid 2 of them (one of them twice, no call girl, no money spent except for my own drinks. *In jadakiss bird call* “EH HAH!”). 50 percent ain’t bad.

But before that, the 6-7 trips I made to vegas before that, I didn’t go beyond a makeout session. That just tells you that anything can happen in Vegas as long as your attitude is there.

By the end of that trip, I still had 50 bucks left in my pocket (and I got shiitfaced every night and ate good, even a 5 course meal at Robert Palmer Steakhouse).

The only night I went clubbing was on Thursday night at Haze and that’s where I met the chicks I got down with. But there, also ran into a group of brothas (military cats). We just drank like a motha, parle’d with some females, I eventually went off to do my own thang. But they invited me to come kick it with them the next night cuz they had bottle service at Foundation (or whatever the club in Cosmopolitan is called). I had to Fly early Sat so going out again Fri night was too much for me).

But overall, I can’t stress being open minded and having the right attitude. I had black people, white people, who have never really interacted with people of my kind tell me, “Man, I didn’t know guys like you get down like that”. Black people, white people, old people, young people, the chicks who rendezvou’d back at in suite, concierges being extremely helpful, cab drivers that were telling me their life stories, lady at the buffet who cut me an especially thick slice of roast beef, etc). It was all because of my attitude (it was out of urgency though cuz I not wanting to be alone and delving out of my normal circumstances and daring to be bold – and me being a non-threatening seeming kind of guy prolly helped my cause as well. LOL).

What I got in return was sense of self discovery, new friends, new-found confidence and an experience I will never forgot.

I do miss going with friends though because there were times where I just felt bored or lonely as hell – 4 days and 3 nights, there’s only so much you can do or want to do by yourself - that's why this June, i'm headed down there with my fleet but will still keep my mind, heart and demeanor open to everybody and just vibe like magazine).



Bottom line, the possibilities and outcomes are endless. There are literally hundreds of thousands of like-minded people who are there, regardless of reasoning, are ultimately there to have a good time.

It's never the same trip twice. Thanks for mentioning that because you don't realize it until you reflect back and in retrospect, each visit had its own unique charm, seismic-level-debauchery and overall feel/meaning/experience.

Daygo was talking about EDC then somebody noted that doing that was overkill because being in Sin City itself was a fantastic episode on its own merit.

I dunno, if my mullahs right by the first week of summer, i plan to splurge with major urge 'til i hurl.

My lady friend has a marathon that weekend so if all goes well and as originally planned, i will be without the ball & chain and should be heading there with a great rack of people (and i'll just say that what happens in Vegas doesn't usually happen at home ).
