You moving to get closer to the Boxing scene?
it's more so for lifestyle reasons.
-I don't like living in Philly anymore. I was born and raised here. Went to school at Upenn/Wharton and never experienced anything else.
-The crime in Philly is so awful that things close early or they don't even make dope things available as far as night life, restaurants and what not.
-Eveything shuts down super early in Philly.
-Philly is the poorest big city in America and you feel it when it comes to just about everything. It's just super low vibrational.
-The fact that I went to Upenn and 90% of penn grads leave Philly after graduation speaks to how much I just never truly felt at home in my own city.
-There's just not much here professionally for me and I've always had to leave the city or work remotely for jobs.
-There's also not much here for me personally as well. I don't think I'm going to meet the love of my life here.
-Being the poorest big city in America. Shopping options in vegas rival New York, DC, LA, Chicago......They have stores with more exclusive options. The Vegas Ralph Lauren Store sells Double RRL and has a whole Double RRL section. The Ralph Lauren store in Philly is in KOP and they don't sell Double RRL and it doesn't have half of the stuff the Vegas or NY stores have. We just don't get the cool shyt that NY, LA, DC, Chicago gets as far as our clothing stores but Vegas gets it. Like Vegas has a Nike store. We don't have one in Philly. It's kinda like that for everything in Philly.
-I like the weather in Vegas. Can't stand east coast winters anymore.
-I like the proximity to nature....red rock canyon, valley of fire, zion, grand canyon.
-I'm a sports bettor and even though sports betting isn't great in Vegas anymore (places with Fan Duel are better), I still like having Circa at my disposal. Vegas is stuck in the stone ages when it comes to sports betting tho.
-I enjoy living on PST because as a sports bettor who works in sports media, all the games start at 3 and 4 pm and are over by 7, 8, 9 pm max which means -I can have a life. On the East Coast, I can't have a life, can't date the way I want to, can't go out to eat, go to concerts because I'm watching so many games for work. When I'm on the West coast, I can watch every game and then go out afterwards.
-Boxing.....I'm a big boxing fan so I can catch all the fights.
-There's always concerts in Vegas, everyone comes there.
-They have the best restaurants from everywhere in the world.
