Just read it's a remake of Boxer From Shantung, which it's fukkin awesome. It's basically a kung fu Scarface. Gonna peep this remake when I can.

I know about this film, tbh man, I am done with the over the top usage of camera work and the slow mo shots, It does my head in, just keep it simple and let the choreagraphy do the job! This flick does have some nice weapon display action scenes...

was a 8 for me and i hate slo mo with a passion....nice fights all throughout and them last 30min

I just watched Drunken Master II (Legend of Drunken Master) and Iron Monkey back to back.

It got me thinking, both of those movies were released in the early 90s in Hong Kong but later got remastered for American cinema in the late 90s/ early 2000s.

What other old Hong Kong flicks can benefit from a modern remaster?? I was going to say Police Story 1 but it already did back in 1998.
