Why is the league against this?? Wasn't supposedly part of the lockout being able to help teams retain players so they can't pull a heat? This entices players to stay unless they thinking somehow players gonna go crazy getting cut on purpose to retain the bird rights

NY is a big market team so league wants us to be fukked by default.
That's what I'm saying we picked up Lin and Novak off the trash heap now they want to penalize us . If this was Cleveland would it be a problem? They don't want all the free agents going to big markets and they don't want us being frugal either .
