Knicks need to convince J.R. to pick up his option, then extending him to a long term deal. I would definitely use the Mid-Level exception on Antawn Jamison. Knicks need some easy front court scoring off the bench. He's been a reliable vet his whole career. Knicks need to look into signing realistic free agents as in a Derrick Fisher to back up Lin. This is great news for our Knicks.

No way in fukking hell should they extend J.R. Smith. Antwan Jamison ain't putting no one over the hump. Derrick Fisher? :snoop: :birdman:

:manny: he's old breh. Let him teach Jeremy how to run this team to the promised land :lawd:

Steve Nash is not coming to the Knicks to come off the bench. Lin needs to fall back and learn from watching Nash play, instead of being thrown to the wolves. This takes the pressure off of Lin and allows him to grow at a more reasonable pace. Look at how much Dragic has improved backing him up.

It'd be nice to have Lin as the primary scoring threat off the bench instead of J.R. Smith( if he picks up the option), and Lin was playing his best ball when he was in with the second Unit guys. If Nash comes in as the starting point it's a win for everybody involved.

We do this every summer, people.

If Nash were to take a crazy paycut it would not be to come here anyway, I'd say.

If we can get Nash he should start until Lin is able to prove he can score consistently and stop throwing the ball away like its a hot potato.
