It's obvious Phil's the Master, but I'm wondering how he would have fitted in NY. For some reason big name coaches dont see to work that well in NY (Nelson, Wilkens, Larry Brown ) and I like the relationship Woody seems to have with the players. Not saying that Phil isn't better than any of those coaches, but they were supposed to be good coaches too. Phil might be too laid back for this group, he couldn't do his "let them figure it out themselves" thing during a bad run with the Knicks. And I don't like how the Lakers just got manhandled by Dallas last year, you would think that Zen Master could come up with SOMETHING to make it competitive, but he seemed out of touch. I don't know, I guess I don't mind some stability for the Knicks. Plus Woody is in the same situation as the players: he has to prove himself.

RAY ALLEN SG Celtics

Allen's troublesome ankle caused his three-point shot to go south in the postseason (26.9%), and his relationship with Rajon Rondo has created tension in the locker room. Before the trade deadline Boston nearly moved Allen; the emergence of Avery Bradley makes him expendable.

WHO WANTS HIM

Sources say the Heat and the Knicks are at the top of Allen's list.
