For the same reason corporations end partnerships all the time. It stagnates or declines. The point is if Rihanna is labeled a billionaire, Drake can be too if you apply the same valuations to his partnerships.

Fenty is currently valued at 2.8 billion dollars. Rihanna owns half. Again, why would they end the partnership?
Again I don’t believe Rihanna owns half of the entire operation. Kanye owned 100% of Yeezy but was entitled to 15% of the total wholesale revenue from Adidas Yeezy. Adidas ultimately controlled owned 85% of the operation. Rihanna didn’t put up the upfront capital to build Fenty. LVMH did, so they control majority of the operation. To believe she owns half of the entire operation means she got a better deal than Jordan, who has generated tens of billions for Nike over the last 30+ years.
If Fenty sales decline or stagnate, LVMH could end the partnership just like companies do all the time.
