Yooooooooo.....I have listened to every episode of this podcast, and through all the fukkery nothing made me laugh harder than Joe rapping Em's Patiently Waiting rhymes this episode

It was the way it came out of nowhere that caught me off guard like ....

Anyone know when their deal is up? I ask because Spotify's announced exclusive deals with Kim K on her philanthropic podcast (lol) and DC/Warner for rights to podcasts on the DC Universe in the last 24 hours. Add these to the 100m Rogan/200m Ringer deals and they've spent major money in just the last 6 months. They shelled out to acquired Gimlet before that.

I know it was apparently the most streamed on the platform in 2019, I wonder what the numbers look like since. If they kept up the same momentum why haven't they gotten a bag by now, seems like it'd be mandatory this can't wait shyt. Especially since Apple's working to get exclusives after seeing Spotify announce one after another. Then again, would Apple pick up Buttons after the way he's shytted on the company since moving to Spotify.

Kim is def starting to fade and people care less about her, even with that I could see her still pulling in more listens than the avg Budden episode. Forget about Rogan & these superhero podcasts. If I'm Spotify, why bother besides holding a monopoly over Apple?

Rory and the Parks guy know that Budden and Mal live in the delusional "rapper" bubble and have for like 20 years now...even tho Mal isnt a rapper he was in that circle. They literally dont know any normal women, all they know is working girls and low class smut types who just want some money...they speak from the perspective of dudes who haven't been around regular people, and regular women specifically, for a long ass time. It's not their fault tho, they just need to realize that they sound crazy to their audience, lol. Mal and Parks need to remind them they're not talking realistically and help them out

Also what the fukk is he talking about Lucian Grainge is the Chairman of Universal, does Joe really think his son is asking his father to pressure artists for him? And Joe rationalizing it with if Lucian calls 99% will do it, so he's saying he's cool with everyone doing it because there's a probability that Lucian called (with no proof whatsoever).

Politics as usual, that's why he jokingly started shytting on the barbs first to show that he's not "political". Joe is the most transparent guy in hiphop

Slow Dance is a good song. A REALLY good song. But it's not even the best song off that album.

Save Room, Another Again, and Maxine kill that.

shyt, Each Day Gets Better is arguably better at being in the same lane as Slow Dance.

That album was crazy underrated, looking back. They were bugging acting like he was going to get definitively destroyed.
