What type of deal did Joe sign with Koch/E one?

He was talking about Alan Grunblatt calling him recently talking about his album recouped, I thought those indie deals were low budget albums with high degree of freedom. It really took Joe retiring after a whole career to understand how to not get fukked in the industry :mjlol:

Obviously, which is why I asked what type of deal he had and said I thought it was something else :dahell:
i think his overall deal(s) were pretty bad...he has mentioned off hand a few times on the podcast how shyt like (I think it was) publishing was only recently resolved

Do you know if he was completely released by Def Jam or did Def jam and Amalgam/Koch/E one do some type of deal to transfer him?
If he was completely dropped on all his UMG obligations, he must've been severely finessed to get finessed again by not only one but two different indie labels with both group and solo deals :snoop:

Yeah that's funny to me that he's like "I got some shyt to get off my chest" and proceeds to not really say a damn thing and is mad political in all his answers to questions.

Thanks for the heads up, I can skim through that episode.

Feels like they want to go back to once a week....

They should've BEEN done this. 2 episodes per week at 2hrs minimum is too much. Especially on slow news weeks. They be struggling to come up with content to discuss.

I never listened to a Logic album ever. Listened to maybe 3 songs. So I’m no fan of his. This shyt weak as hell how they go in on him because he has no backing from a crew. Sucker shyt. It’s way worst rappers that deserve this treatment. But it’s a possibility they might get punched in face talking shyt about a rapper with a crew. But whatever lol

Logic is a fukking cornball. His audience is for suburban folk who shop at Kohl's & turn to Complex for what's hip.

I low key prefer the pod when they don’t have shyt to talk about. The industry talk gets boring to me sometimes. Like when there was 6 straight weeks of summer walker discussion.

Or when this stupid jada/august shyt started every episode had to have a discussion on it.
