Fab has hit records? More like moderate hit records. He’s more a MC than hit maker. Fab’s a mixtape rapper,
I'd say Pump it Up was more successful than any of Fab's singles, but Fabulous had way more mainstream appeal than Joe.

Your average listener who grew up in the 2000's would have the ability to ring off more than one Fab song while Pump it Up might be the only Joe song they mention.

Fab & Budden were both also on video game soundtracks and the DVD era. Fab has a little more fame though.

Agreed. I think Breathe is comparable to it or just a small level below. But after those songs I'd say Fab got the next like 10-15 biggest songs between them.

Sounds like where Drake got his style from. He admitted himself.
Yeah Joe influenced Drake's flow and subject matter a lot for sure. Difference being Drake's voice and flow is a lot smoother. That's why Joe had trouble crossing over IMO because his voice is so nasally and he always sound like he battling on a track. And I say that as somebody who got Joe in my personal top 5.

Drake is a hybrid artist, he’s not really a MC or rapper. That’s why he’s so popular. He crosses all the boxes to other demographics. And some don’t even listen to Hip Hop, they only like him. That’s why you see how rabid his fans are.

Don't do that. Fab has hit records

Breathe
Diamonds on my Chain
All them female records like Ja Rule lol

Tricking anthem :takedat:

I hated this song, the Ryan Leslie song was better. And the Neyo Timbo one was ok but radio songs isn’t why I listen to Fab.
