Yea the misinformation going around is wild. Just got off the phone with my sister earlier. She wasnt really following the election or anything and we dont really talk politics. She randomly brought up someone telling her something about trump and the DoE stuff. I was like yea it's true and explained he trying to let state handle education which would lead them making it easier to get rid CRT, cut funding and stuff. I also told her about how it seems like trump is maneuvering to try to get white ppl reparations or w/e. She countered with Kamala would be implementing the same things as trump and they both the same, Trump just out in the open with it. "Im like...

She brought up how at the barbershop they were saying how low class Kamala's campaign was because she had Meg on there. And it was pandering by bringing rappers on stage. She then said she had no prominent black ppl speak for her. I countered by telling her trump had rappers too and the obamas spoke for Kamala. She said trump racist so he can pander. She then said her white doctor told her Kamala locked up every black man she could and brought up other bullshyt about a video going around of kamala saying she aint black and hate black ppl. I'm like "im willing to bet that was an ai vid and it's fake". I just let her talk until the subject changed. From the way the convo was going she already made her mind up to believe what she wanted neway and didnt want to waste the energy. Part of me also just wanted to hear how much ignorant shyt she would believe.
It's amazing how willfully ignorant ppl are and just take shyt as facts w/o doing research of their own, especially as something as important as electing someone for president. We in arkansas, so our vote doesnt matter, shyt wouldve been red neway. But I imagine the same dumb ass info going around in black communities in the swing states as well.
CRT alone should’ve been a HUGE incentive for Black ppl to back Kamala and SHYT on Trump.
I can’t wrap my head around that not having been centered in these dialogues, because how can one on one hand want reparations, yet at the same time gloss over the fact that SLAVERY in education could get pulled.

Even though only 16% voted for Trump, the fact that the large Black platforms didn’t zoom in on THAT in political diaslogue and they spent WAY more time on her damn race and ethnicity is mind boggling to me when there’s a COTDAMN racist white man as the other option.
