No. He, like everyone else, was analyzing the "Not Like Us" video and noticed Kendrick never mouths Drake's name in the video. He was looking to see if there was a meaning behind it or if anyone else noticed too. He asked the question on Twitter first, but nikkas took it as if Flip was trying to create a narrative.Did Flip really just ask if Kendrick Lamar was scared to say Drake’s name?
Same way Mel mentioned Kendrick skipping over the 6 in the hopscotch scene.
Oh I didn’t see his Tweet. And I didn’t listen to Mal podcast or really anybody’s else’s critique of the video yet.
I’m slacking. I haven’t listened to Budden since the Kendrick-Drake beef breakdowns. I checked the timestamps but nothing else since then seemed interesting to listen to.

Ive never watched the Joe Budden podcast at length until the Kendrick/Drake beef so can somebody tell me if the Ish guy is putting on a Skip Bayless act or something?
It’s hard for me to watch because man’s is like 52 and everytime for 2 months that Kendrick or Drake losing or something in that realm is talked about, he sits in the back quiet hella mad. Like at the height of the beef I get it (kinda) but at this point - unless he is Drake fam or mob ties - I didn’t act like that at 19 over no man much less 47

Joe wrong on the youtube shyt. It doesnt matter how long he been posting on youtube. The JBP episodes is what got his subs popping and he gets s grip from ads on there. That's a shytload of money not going to Rory/Mal. That's on Rory/Mal for not having that in their contracts and allowing it. Who the hell did they have as their lawyers that negotiated that?
They were getting a profit share of some amount, so I guess youtube wasnt included in that? They lawyers so trash

So somewhere recently Rory said something about getting 40k for patreon, Joe says in the first few seconds that was Rory's first month of patreon pay. Damn Joe caking more than I thought off patreon

The 400K was the accounting error that Rory and Mal noticed when Joe sent over the financials in an excel spreadsheet.
The 40K was the money that Rory said he got the first month after the Spotify contract was over. That was during the period that they didn't have a deal. That was when Joe was saying he was overpaying them based on income coming in. If I'm Rory & Mal my first question is definitely where the hell is that 40K coming from which I think made them press harder about wanting to see the actual books. That's when R&M were saying they didn't want to be overpaid and if money wasn't coming in like that they'd rather use the cut Joe was giving them to pay the staff since they were having to do so much more work for the same pay.
The reason I always though Joe was full of shyt is that he always paints the picture of R&M being greedy and trying to take advantage of him but then he'll point out examples of where they just wanted their agreed upon share based on their understanding of the original contract. And even on the original contract they all agreed it had Joe taking a large majority of the split. Joe said 70/15/15. Then out of Joe's own mouth he said he didn't like that deal later on because he never realized the pod would generate as much money as it ended up doing at which point he wanted them on salary.
Like Ish pointed out to Joe, he could've easily shut them up and showed them the contracts the podcast had. Any nikka that just says "trust me I'm taking care of you all" is definitely snaking you. Joe is moving like a record label pocketing the majority of the money, then throwing crumbs at the artists hoping those crumbs will keep the artist from looking deeper into the books to see how much money is really being generated.
He either changes the story or he adds bits and pieces to what he previously stated.

Ian has done nothing new to make the claim to have the best podcast/broadcasting. Flagrant 2 been doing patreon drops for years before JBP did it. Broadcasting wise The Volume gets them outta here. Shannon/Gil/Cam & Mase also get them outta here. They have partnerships set up with Underdog/The Volume. They worked in their contract to make new shows with the backing/marketing of Underdog/Volume. In Shannon's case Colin is teaching him all the rope on being a production company and Shannon working on making tv shows. Gil worked his deal to where Underdog pays him to lease his channel and gets paid for each new sub that gets added. Dan lebatard's company managed to get a tv deal and just signed All the smoke.
