The way Drake is being handled really is a reflection of a larger issue.
He’s biracial.
He’s lightskin.
Wealthy. (Ruling class)
J€wish.
Connected.
So all his fukkery is being overlooked and belittled.
At best, tippy toed to still have access and not completely ruin the relationship with someone of the ruling class THAT connected across industries, ethnicities and class.
If this was some regular mid-level darkskin rapper with medium success, they woulda BEEN thrown him in the bushes for all these reference tracks and ghostwriters while claiming the best.
This is not like Puff and Ye, and they know it.
They’re playing dumb for the public.

You invalidated your first argument about how Drake looks by comparing him to someone with “medium” success. Drake is the most successful rapper of all time and one of the most successful artists of all time. Of course he’s going to get away with things other people can’t.
Having reference tracks leak of flows or hooks of throwaway songs aren’t going to chink the armor of someone who is a proven megastar. Guys are also credited so it’s not like he’s hiding it.
People wrote and made reference tracks for Michael Jackson; Michael Jackson wrote and made reference tracks for other people. Drake has been proven to write his own music and other people’s music by multiple people who aren’t attached to him or his label.
Drake is talented; Joe knows that which is why he doesn’t like him (and he’s hadall of Joe’s women). Say what you want, but there is truth to what Drake said about Joe being jealous that Drake became everything Joe was supposed to be.
Does Drake have the ultimate machine behind him? Absolutely, but that doesn’t just happen by chance or the Illuminati handpicking you. There have been plenty of rappers and singers with way bigger industry head starts than Drake that washed out.
