The thing about Nore is that he's constantly drinking, which gives him an easy out when it comes to the way he constantly says false or weird shyt. If Joe said something like that I'd at least give him the benefit of the doubt, relating to Combat Jack. But Nore is so out of pocket that I can't just dismiss it. Combat started podding in 2010. Spotify wasn't handing out podcast money. Neither was Revolt. Or Apple Music. The point being, no one had a deal like Nore because the market didn't fukking exist to provide a Nore type deal yet.
I can't say what would have happened if Combat was still alive. Maybe the pod would be similar to what Juan Epstein is today: largely irrelevant and outdated as the newer shyt took over. I remember tuning out of some of the final eps in fact, when it was just Combat and Premium Pete. It felt kind of joyless at times, compared to the golden days of Raz/Dallas Penn/Pete/DJ Benhamin/etc. Regardless Combat deserves respect for birthing this shyt. People rode for Combat when it was Rosenberg trying to rewrite history. They should ride for him here too. And as a black man Nore should be ashamed but he's incapable of feeling that. Greedy motherfukker.
