Facts. The more money you get, the better quality and pricier brands you buy. That's why them designer brands rely on the 35-55 crowd to be there main target because they usually are years into a career/higher salaries so they can afford it
And yeah typically style/ability to dress doesn't come with money. If you dressed badly when you was low on income, you will more than likely dress bad when you're rich too.

I think there's going to be an even larger disconnect within another decade.
You'd be surprised how many people haven't heard certain songs. I watch reaction videos and will come across millenials/older gen Z never hearing a big, or cultural, hit multiple times a week.
What I've come to learn is everyone's musical journey is different. Most listen casually, others listen to strictly one genre, some listened to everything, some only listened to what an older sibling played, etc.
