His idea that no one should feel a way or slighted by Dieon leaving Jackson state. What exactly about Joe’s argument did you disagree with or was that it? Because all that you said was that he got destroyed
Random but who y'all got IF Cyhi and Joe battled
One of those greatest hits came on my youtube and it was the one with Joe saying he'd put Cyhi in the dirt if he wanted smoke lol
His idea that no one should feel a way or slighted by Dieon leaving Jackson state.
The fans, supporters, players, recruits and administration have great reasons to feel slighted
I don’t think anyone is saying Deion shouldn’t have left. They would feel the same way if he left in 5 years. By their logic there would never be a good time for him to leave, but at the end of the day he did what was best for his self, his sons and his family. Just like anyone complaining would do. People love telling others what to do with their time and money when they wouldn’t do it themselves.
I don’t think anyone is saying Deion shouldn’t have left.
But he did not live up to the words and goals he stated for himself
Jackson State gave Deion the opportunity to skip the line. He wasn’t getting that anywhere else
“Gave back half his salary” he could do this because being the head coach at Jackson state gave him the ability to have the AFLAC Endorsement27-5 record.
2x Conference champs.
Increased attendance, visibility and revenue
TV deals and NIL deals
Used his connections to supply his team with customs game day suits amongst other benefits
Gave back half his salary to pour into the facilities, program, players and school
Provided a foundation, framework and blueprint on how retired black prof athletes can come back, coach and elevate the profiles of HBCU athletic programs (now it’s on EVERYONE as a collective to carry this on because he proved it can be done)
What other goals and words did he miss?
“Gave back half his salary” he could do this because being the head coach at Jackson state gave him the ability to have the AFLAC Endorsement
He didn’t provide a foundation or framework or blueprint
Everything you’re giving Deion credit for doesn’t happen without Jackson state giving him the opportunity to skip the line
You think Deion is in the AFLAC with Nick Saban if he isn’t the head coach of Jackson state? He could do it because he wanted to do it not because of a damn AFLAC commercial. He’s Deion Sanders, he was in commercials his entire career and post-career. Plenty CAN do it but choose not to, don’t trivialize his contribution.
This was symbiotic, they both benefited from this relationship. If he didn’t deliver, he would’ve been fired. It’s business at the end of the day.
You think Deion is in the AFLAC with Nick Saban if he isn’t the head coach of Jackson state?
I don’t even know what you’re arguing. The fans, players recruits and administration can still feel away about Deion leaving after all he’s said after. 3 years to take one of the worse College football jobs out there
NoYou think the next person gets that commercial??? Him being Deion Sanders helped with that. See how that circular argument works???
Idk what you’re arguing, you’re all over the place. He did what’s best for him, like you or anyone else complaining would do.
