The Cult of Meat with Extra Cheese...
Wow... Calling your own boy entry level?
The nikka saved your damn pod when you ran your other friends off lmaoo this ungrateful piece of shyt

Only reason Budden didn’t reup with Spotify is because he saw what Bill Simmons & Rogan got.
He will never admit it publicly but that’s why. I don’t think he turns down the $30 million if those deals don’t happen first.
I’ll give Joe credit, he’s definitely an idea guy and you can’t take that away from him but he’s terrible at the execution.
You can tell he rushed into the “building a network” shyt to try to land a deal and he saw what Charlamagne was doing. It flopped immediately.
Spotify did want him back. He didn't want to give them full ownership, which is the only reason that they didn't want to give him as much as Rogan and Simmons. And again, Rogan and Simmons have ads on their pods. Joe didn't want ads (free fukking money). Then Joe got mad when he saw what Rogan and Simmons got from him. He even said that Bill Simmons personally called him to tell him to take the deal. Spotify wouldn't have Bill call anyone unless they really wanted them to stay.Joe is not that dumb.I think screaming about being disrespected was distract from the real issue
Spotify either didn’t want Joe back, offered him a portion of what the original contract was(most likely), re up with Spotify would’ve exposed how much Joe was stealing from Rory and Mal.
Now, I think Spotify only offered Joe a portion of the OG contract because they didn’t value Joe after signing Rogan and Simmons.
This is where I think Joe offered Spotify Mal’s masterclass and Rory business as his network to show he was bringing more content to the table. When that didn’t make them sweeten the pot he rushed and threw together the the JBN. Joe turned downed the Spotify offer because he believed he could go somewhere and get close to the same deal.
It’s hard to say what really happened with Spotify because Joe is a liar and Spotify will never say anythingSpotify did want him back. Joe had no real plan, it's obvious at this point. I remember the thread when the Patreon thing went down and we were clowning the made-up role, because Joe actually had leverage for once and his rants and need to make it all public turned everyone else away.
. He even said that Bill Simmons personally called him to tell him to take the deal. Spotify wouldn't have Bill call anyone unless they really wanted them to stay.
Dog Joe joked about taking a step back when he found how much hed have to give Rory and Mal with the deal spotify was proposing lol….I’m not a lawyer or an expert of the law by any means. How can they discuss pay POST Spotify, when they couldn’t even discuss the actual Spotify deals as partners?
Joe think his new fans and old stans are dumb. He wants everyone to think Rory and Mal are some flunkys who had no say so and weren’t apart of the business. I remember the ep where they discussed almost breaking up because none of them agreed on the Tidal deal.
Joe wanted to launch his network off the money from whatever deal the pod got. That’s it. We all know it. There’s nothing wrong with him leveraging the pod to get a deal for the network, he just went about it the wrong way.
He's nastyThat all sounds good but R & M were getting paid from somewhere before the spotify deal as well.
For Joe to act like Spotify was the only way the podcast made money is just a flat out lie.
