it’s obvious R&M don’t understand how a profit sharing agreement works

these nikkas still don’t understand they were only getting a percentage of the profits from the JBP not a percentage of all the money Joe made

for instance,Joe can get a 5 mill check from Cashapp and decide to use 1 mill for the JBP and the other 4 for the rest of the network

now lets say they spend 400k on expenses producing the pod

That would mean R&M would get whatever percentage they agreed to of the remaining 600k

The problem is these dumb nikkas think they deserve a percentage of the original 5 mill but thats not how it works

How can you know how much profit you’re entitled to if someone is refusing to show you how much the jbp is earning in the first place lol

Joe was on some random pod. The host randomly brought up how he saw Joe and Rory hanging out at some concert. Joe reluctantly admitted it was true and that Rory had told Joe about the concert. From the way joe was trying to tip toe around that question it seemed like it wasnt pose to get out him and Rory was cool again. Probably because Mal would feel some type of way.

If thats true then Mal lost standing up for Rory.

On today’s pod not only did Ish tell Joe that he should either stop responding to R&M or show the necessary evidence to clear his name…but in a different convo later on Ish told Joe about his self-sabotaging while comparing a separate situation.

He obviously did both in a respectful way as a friend, so they weren’t attacks, but glad he said all that.

If the JBP, not Joe, was get 5 mil and he used 4 mil for the network....that would be an issue. My understanding is that this is where the problem arose. He was funding the JBN off the profitability and income of the JBP, but interchanging JBN when it was time to calculate profits. We can't call anyone stupid without proof, but if Joe was funneling profits for the JBP to the JBN, what would you call that?

whats proft, what’s revenue, what’s an expense would all be defined in the contract between Rory, Mal and Joe. An audit, would Verify the numbers that Joe reported. Rory and Mal were entitled to annual audited statement Of the numbers.

The only numbers they received were some numbers in an a excel document that had mistakes, when they questioned the $400k mistake that’s when things got weird

given Mal said they didn’t know how much the Spotify deal was leads me to believe they were under this arrangement prior to that deal.

No arrangement of this kind would include taxes as an expense Because Joe would pay taxes on his portion of profit he kept and Rory and Mal would pay taxes on their %
