Ever since Joe said he didn't pay his cook and was complaining she was asking for her money, I looked at him like a clown
he truly is crazy.
imagine if he ran a real business with that mind set

If you notice, the other hosts rarely ask him to tag along to functions.i can't imagine he has any real friends left
sounds like a chore to be around
They know its a good chance he’ll say no so there’s no point in asking him.If you notice, the other hosts rarely ask him to tag along to functions.
Joe feels some type of way about it, but masks it with jokes that contain truths. Often times when the pod starts, he asks them about their weekend and they’ll do things together without him and he’ll “joke with truth” about it talkin bout: “y’all went without me huh, why y’all ain’t ask me?”
He REALLY feels some type of way about it.
He been gettin left behind goin back to when Rory & Mal were a part of the show and didn’t ask him to join functions regularly.
He currently goes through it with Ice and Ish.
Joe is a terrible friend and his actions have showed this plenty times.
I found that part hilarious considering damn near everything he has to offer is "they're saying such and such online..."What is Ice trying to accomplish by claiming he isn’t on the internet
He is unplugging. Probably for his own mental health. What is Ice trying to accomplish by claiming he isn’t on the internet
Because they're freshly coming into the seats and seeing the fruits of labor of 2 nikkas who helped Joe build the brand of the JBP for 5 plus years beforehand.
2 middle aged men making 400k a year to sit and talk for 6 hours a week, and they got baby moms coming after them... Joe sees their vulnerability.
These people humanize Joe and make him seem pallatable to society, Joe doesn't understand this. Thats why RM washed their hands of him.
What is Ice trying to accomplish by claiming he isn’t on the internet
The wildest part is how easily Joe lied. He kept saying "if you just quit I would never sue you". They ask why he won't put that into the contract and he claims that no reputable lawyer would allow him to. They point out that the lawyer works for him and would do whatever Joe tells him to do then Joe finally admits "I would never put that into a contract".I’m finally listening to the episode. Joe thinks paying people is a gift opposed to a wage that they’ve earned by being a co-host. Like they’re there voluntarily and he’s being a nice guy paying them. If he feels co-hosts aren’t necessary and thinks they’re an unneeded expense, why not just go solo?
He has no idea how business works.
He’s paid to be a cultural criticHe is unplugging. Probably for his own mental health.
