Basically says if they leave they aren't allowed to start another podcast, they aren't allowed to quit or Joe can sue them, but Joe can fire them at any point without compensation. ICE signed probably not knowing the details, Ish didn't sign because his lawyer said the contract was really bad and would leave him in a situation where he'd be liable to be sued by Joe with no recourse. Joe's mad that Ish got a lawyer to read the contract, claiming he wouldn't sue because they don't have anything Joe could take.

I'd imagine that any reputable lawyer would have told Budden this would not stand in court. The same way he goes around claiming he "could" sue Rory and Mal for breach of contract lol. If he could sue them he would have done it, but he's the one who broke the contract so he knows he doesn't have a case.

Exactly. All of us here...if you owned your own content "network" wouldn't you want your guys to become popular enough to branch out and do other shows? That's how you attract new listeners. It's why Joe goes on No Jumper and deals with that racist cac. It's why he goes on Math Hoffa. Why wouldn't you want Ish going on a real estate podcast to talk about shyt and maybe bring some new ears back with him to the pod. Why wouldn't you want Ice talking sneakers on some hype beast pod. These dudes are not movie characters who have IPs controlled by one company, like James Bond or some shyt. Why wouldn't you want them branching out lmao.
