Man joe was on one this podcast. Just terrible takes in and out.
The hate for brent is clear. And his scared cohorts did half ass push back when they knew brent makes good music. Brent must have stolen a bytch or two. And he dumb salty. Man said off key or lazy song making when he doesnt bring that smoke to all those shytty artist he champions. Mind you a man whose songs were terribly mastered and mixed.
Then the controlling shyt was just stretch armstrong nasty. How is setting boundaries and ultimatums control in a mutually equal partnership? Unless he beleives woman are weaker than men in every sense.
Then the odd take of “ well if it was my son…” like the bodega owner gives a fukk when he felt threatened, whose son it was.

The only thing I really agreed with Joe on was about Brent. He cannot sing. Like he sounds bad on the records. However, I can see how it sounds disingenuous coming from Joe who champions a new whisper girl every month and overrated mediocre singers like Snoh Aalegra for months on end.
Some Fans keep saying it but honestly I don't see any beef brewingso much so they have touched on it a couple of times. I think a lot of Joe's clowning gets misconstrued, Ice and Ish are just use to the fukkery
I do think with the new studio we will be getting a Surf pod though, could have a way better godtier type podcast

Why would you get shadow banned for 6 hours on a release after you dropped like 7 albums without any shadow ban and 13 years has gone since they tried to cancel you for cancellable offenses.
Why the hell would all the major platforms get together to coordinate a 6 hour on a dude who did approximately the same numbers last time (adjusted for what the Drake single probably stood for). Also why would his label give him a good deal, then try to fukk him over (for 6 hours again) as if they don't get a share of his sales?
Chris team or the intern or whoever fukked up and didn't post it on time, probably cause he was adding songs to the last minute.
And that probably had zero impact, one of his best first week numbers only had a 4-day fw. Dudes really dropped all types of conspiracy theories, label theory, consumer theory, psychology, technological aspects of streaming services, the concept of time and on but not once did they stop to think that maybe he isn't generating more buzz than that.
Weeknd did only 70k more with big singles, big promo, released on time, best reviewed album of his career and he did like 450-500k fw just when covid started.
