he never admits he's wrong :russ:

he was literally wrong about doubling down, but unironically doubled down on thinking he was right

Probably not publicly. My thinking is, I doubt you can keep a friend like Ish or able to consistently keep the relationships he has with his ex's without some form of apologizing for past transgressions

Narcissism is really something to witness

Paying attention to the words they used, I believe Joe. He said they got overpaid, they were the highest paid B mics in the entertainment industry, and that everyone got raises AFTER leaving spotify. Parks cosigned all those statements, Mal and Rory never disputed those lines.
Only thing Mal said was some lame shyt like "I didnt feel overpaid" and "You dont overpay somebody that you dont respect". Man fukk yo feelings what the contract say you pose to get paid and did you get paid more than that. :hhh:
I honestly think Joe didnt want to come off the accounting because he was putting his outside money into the pod to make Mal/Rory whole after he killed the pod deal. Joe bought his own cashapp deal to the pod and that almost covered the money loss from Spotify.

I think Joe means well, he just goes about shyt the wrong way. Like with Ak/Complex. He told the complex nikkas not to sign off on a deal with Ak unless he(Joe) ok'd it because he didnt want the complex ppl taking advantage of Ak. When he couldve just went straight to Ak to give him advice instead. Of course complex execs spinned it and told Ak to keep them at odds.
I dont think Joe robbed them but I still feel like he was to blame for everything falling apart. The issues with accounting went back before the spotify deal fell through, I dont think he was trying to hide money.

It seems like the issue was Joe being an egotistical a$$hole, he didn't want to show them the accounting because he felt like they didn't deserve to see it, contract be damned. His ego wouldn't let him back down after he already drew that line. He could have just sent them what they were asking for, he didn't need to drag the shyt on for years before eventually airing them out publicly and firing them in the most disrespectful way possible.

Rory and Mal were entitled to see the accounting, it shouldn't have even been a discussion, the information should have been sent automatically yearly if Joe understood how business works. Joe allowed a non issue to spiral out of control until it tanked his podcast and cost him a couple friends.

Given how manipulative and downright odious Joe is, I can def see this Rory shyt as him getting back at Mal. Causing tension in the camp, you know their podcast isn't gonna be a long term thing, and Joe prob thinks either Ice or Ish isn't built for the long term either. So you sit back, see how things go...and then one day maybe we get a Joe/Ish/Rory podcast.

Me personally I couldn't be friends with someone who jerked me financially. If it was my boss or some type of professional relationship only...sure I could go out for drinks and talk about work shyt with that person, down the line. But friends? No.

so 1) did they link or not because them cronies on the NewRoryNMal reddit say that it "didnt appear like they actually linked"

and 2) how did you surmise that joe talking about it is to cause tension?

3) if joe didn't think it was a long term thing, why would they book a tour? ish ice and now tsu seem comfortable in their roles.

I like the part of the show segment, it's very interesting the differing opinions. The last one with the guy and his baby mama switching up I thought was funny because everyone was right to an extent. I think if the guy feels that strongly about her "switching up" he should communicate with her delicately(leave the bf out of it at least initially). That said, it does kind of feel like the guy is nitpicking small changes(that will naturally occur as ppl get into relationships) as opposed to noticing a pattern of outward selfishness or inconsideration.

This week's Part of the show, that girl needs to just break up with dude. They aren't sexually compatible and she was already throwing hints at the JBP so it's best she dead the relationship.

Why would he lie about going together? Multiple people saw them at the show. In terms of Joe, I just think that’s his character. He’s not a forgive and forget dude. He’s a sociopath.

Yea they’re going on tour but I really don’t think Ish provides anything to the pod. He reminds me of Mal in terms of being too cool to actually pod. Plus he’s completely out of touch with every music discussion.
