Joe talks about podcasting and having a consistent listener base like it's a fukking new invention, man. AM radio been the same thing. 5 days a week. 3 hours a day. With hundreds of thousands or millions listening.

The only thing that changed was the medium. Podcasts are just AM radio shows.

Ehhhhh…. Ari Lennox is making noise, so is JID. They are quality artists. Plus Cole does a great job with the Dreamville albums and mixtapes in a time where rappers running labels feels like it’s damn near dead. Now I do agree that being an hood executive has no bearing on the “best rapper” narrative but it’s dope feather in Cole’s hat. Also rapping wise I feel like he’s at the top right now imo
